The rooms at the Palm House Inn, were not too big but modern, very clean and had everything which was needed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and we could use the internet for free. As we did not have time to eat breakfast, our bus left very early, we can not give a comment about this point.

The hotel was in the best spot in town for walking around and exploring. It was right next to the National Museum and across the street was a souvenir market with great shopping. The beds were a bit of a joke. They were on wheels or something and kept moving around. But everything was clean and of good quality. The...

Stayed two nights at the Palm House Inn for our flights in/out of San Jose. Got in late both nights and noticed the neighborhood seemed a little rough / scary (forget a night stroll for some fresh air). The rooms are very small. The bathrooms seemed to have been recently updated. However, the walls / bedspread were spotted up with...

Our room was tiny and there was a horrible smell which we believe was coming from the drains. However as we were only booked in for two nights we decided to put up with it but on the second day we had to move as water started to pour down the wall. The second room was on the ground floor...

Clean, centrally located hotel with good service. Rooms are too small but clean, with TV and a fan. Breakfast is simple but good and included. Area is noisy because of train which honks non-stop when passing by. But it's better than in most other locations where noise is almost unbearable...

We were lost in San Jose for over an hour because when we were given directions while we setup our reservation they were incorrect and as we were driving around the person at the front desk didn't know the area well enough to tell us where to go. Otherwise the place is very clean and has a/c... we liked the...

I came to San Jose to receive medical treatment, and the Palm House Inn was one of the hotels the hospital recommended. And a great recommendation it was! The hotel's not fancy, but it's got everything you need (A/C, cable TV, computer in the lobby and wireless internet), and it's spotlessly clean. The location is great, on a (mostly) quiet...

The hotel is very clean and centrally located. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel's rooms are a bit small though. The breakfast is very delicious. Overall, you have a feeling that you are staying in a nice local home with very much attantion.
