Really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable , relaxing B and B , with a lovely courtyard garden and comfortable rooms in a nice part of town . Food is served and is typical uninspiring Costa Rican fare, but perfectly fine and cheap . Breakfast is good. Useful transfers to the airport or into town are offered but allow plenty...

Right in the middle of a bustling city is this oasis of serenity. Rooms were clean and air conditioned. Inside open garden with birds, waterfall and fish. Owner was a delight. Well worth the price. Breakfast was very tasty.

Sadly we arrived at the airport at 9pm and the pre booked airport collection did not arrive and the tel number on the booking info was not recognised when we called! We had to find another taxi ride late at night. General apology when we arrived, but they didn't seem that bothered. Room okay, bed very comfy and fluffy towels....

I've stayed at Casa Lima last year and this. I would definitely recommend this establishment while in San Jose. The neighborhood is wonderful and I have always felt safe walking. The breakfast that is served is petite but perfect. Fruit, bread, and butter that is delicious. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable and the common area is quite...

I chose this place because if the great reviews. This is not a negative review, just to state it as it is. The reviews and Casa Lima facilities. Location. Everyone notes it is close to the US Embassy, so what. It us in a residential neighborhood. The owners are really terrific. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. But the...

If you have to stay in San Jose or--even worse--Alajuela (near the airport), this is a great place to experience Costa Rican "Pura Vida." The interior of this small hotel boasts beautiful foliage, waterfalls, animals (fish, birds, etc.) in a calming environment that exemplifies all the beauty of Costa Rica. Our room was satisfactory (we had come from resorts where...

Casa Lima is a small gem BB close to the American Embassy in Costa Rica. The ambiance is very tropical with fish ponds and lush vegetation. The staff is really exceptional in how they take care of you during your stay. Nelson, Ricky, and Suzie made the stay very comfortable. I was in Costa Rica for dental work and the...

I stayed here in May for a dental procedure. I came by my self and was very nervous about being in a foreign country and not speaking spanish. Nelson and Susie made me feel like i was at home. Nelson took and picked me up from most of my appointments. The day I had surgery he helped me out of...

There's no doubt that this B&B's strong point is its staff. Susie (sp?) met us warmly when we first arrived. She and Nelson made us feel very welcome, and accommodated us during our Dental visit. The food in the restaurant was very good. My only caution is that you should understand not to expect rooms ala a 4-star hotel. Small...
