The room was dirty, it was obviuous that they didn‘t even us a vacume cleaner behind the door. Plus there was no daylight, the beds are really small. I was glad we only booked it for one night - but for that it was way too expensive!

The rooms are good value for money, it is set on a beautiful property (we saw a sloth right there). Bit far from town, but bus is readily available. What sets this place apart though are the folks who run it, they are super nice!

Very Clean and all staff friendly. We paid extra for the private room and it's defiantly worth it! room had air con, fridge,tv ect... we also used the communal kitchen. they also offer free tea and coffee all day/night. we chose this place over selina hostel, as it was cheaper it included breaky and was much more laid back. Hire a car from SJO, it's cheap and easy. don't forget to haggle when trying to park your car at the national park, and don't waste your money on a guide, we did it ourself and it's very easy, don't forget it cost $16 USD per person to get it and your not able to bring in snacks (you can take in fruit or anything that would not leave rubbish) also be aware on the beach as serval animals will try to steal your stuff

The only good thing we can say - it was quite clean. Very small. Staff was awful. Internet didn’t work at all (they said it’s the weather but WiFi wirked everywhere else we went to). Rooms are tiny and dark. No AC. Staff is very not nice and not helpful. Very small breakfast. Avoid if you can

I stayed here for two nights. Unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros which was surprising to me given the positive reviews I saw. Pros: clean room, a/c, mini Fridge, generally friendly staff, free coffee and tea available, close to bus stop to get to the park. Cons: the place has a very odd atmosphere. There is a common area with a pool table but it is not inviting and seems like it was put there as an afterthought. Between the dogs barking all night, traffic noises, and what can only be described as the sound of someone jumping on the roof I did not get much sleep. The breakfast is not included and is expensive ($6 U.S.). If you dont have a car you are forced to either take a cab or bus if you want to eat at a restaurant or go to the park as there is nothing within walking distance. You have to pay a deposit for your room key. None of the bus drivers and/or tour companies knew where the place was (through no fault of their own) which added a small amount of stress when trying to book tours. I was left with the impression that this property was thrown together at the last minute without much forethought. My recommendation is to either stay in quepos or Manuel Antonio village. Pros: Clean room, a/c, Wi-Fi, mini fridge in room
