Where do I start , what a big difference from staying in the city. It was so relaxing, even though it rained it was peaceful. It's been quite a few years since I stayed in a Gay hotel since Puerto Rico. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The rooms had a refrigerator, microwave. We didn't spend a lot of time in...

Our second visit was a disappointment compared to trip a year earlier. The "full kitchen" was a small refrigerator and microwave plus sink. The TV was located in room with two twin beds both of which had very uncomfortable mattresses - not like any I have seen or used in America or Europe and not similar to the king bed...

The breakfast, which is included with your stay, was fantastic and much need for the all the daily activities that Rodney and Gerald are more than happy to book/arrange for you. My stay at Hotel Villa Roca was reduced to 2 nights only however I had a wonderful time. I was impressed by spectacular views from my room window(room no4). Tropical garden was so well maintained that looked like some sort of Luxurious Villa. Exotic sounds at night makes you feel like you are in the "Heart of Costa Rica". I...

The setting at Villa Roca is peaceful and relaxing. The property is beautifully set into a mountainside. You check in at road level and then descend stairs to which ever room / building you have rented. Each of the rooms has views of the beautiful gardens and the ocean below. The gardens on the property are well maintained and marked....

Amazing view of the rainforest from most rooms. Rooms were very clean with great ceiling fans and AC units. Bathrooms were clean with great showers . Great balconies that look over the rainforest. The pool is out of this world. You get to swim in a pool that looks down to the rain forest and coastline. Staff was very attentive...

I was there enjoying my holidays and is a nice place for resting, staff is friendly and gives really good advices for activities and places for meals. I do not like the local visitors in the swimming pool during the happy hour, I consider since I am paying for a long stay, I deserve PRIVACY, visitors are taking sunchairs and...

As a gay couple my husband and I wanted a vacation where we could completely relax in a safe fun relaxing environment. We travel frequently and know the risks of staying at an unknown place. We were completely surprised at the service, views and close proximity to everything we needed. Villa Roca's staff went overboard to meet our needs. Consequently, we'll...

Just got back from an adventure trip to Costa Rica and stayed here for three days/nights. Located high atop the hills this is a gay owned and operated hotel/resort very much in the style of Santorini. Not sure how many rooms there are but they are on multi split levels. About mid-way down the hill is the bar/breakfast area/infinity pool/hot...
