We were not sure how to handle this situation. We arrived later in the day and it has been very dry in Costa Rica, but we were shocked by the amount of ants in our room and in the linens. We were also greeted by cockroaches flying in the bathroom. Not sure if this is normal for Costa Rica but...

If you are looking for a more 'local' experience, this is a great place! Jamie helped us to find the Costa Rica we wanted to experience, and taught us alot about the local culture. The grounds (including the pool, mango trees, iguanas, and birds), were the perfect home base for our Costa Rican experience. Returning? Absolutely!

We stay here often! It's host Jamie is fun and entertaining. The location is close to an amazing surf break an easy walk down the beach. She has a refreshing pool and cold beer is always available!! She has many repeat and returning customers year after year. We have had great times and great memories. We will always return.

Jamie is so great! The kids (and parents too) had a blast and will be going back soon hopefully! The rooms are just re done and Jamie has put everything she has into beautifying the place.

We booked these cabins for our Christmas holiday and did not even stay one night. What may have been beautiful cabins are now run down, garbage strewn places with ripped screens and no real kitchen to speak of. Please do not waste your time.
