This is a fanatastic property, if you can stand to be around Terry, the host and owner of the Lookout. He has been in the jungle too long and has forgotten what's appropriate, how to treat his staff and even how to respect his Tica...More
All the good reviews about this place are true ! We came in as strangers and ended up parting as friends. Lookout inn is one of the few places in this world that I can't wait to get back to. Sure, getting there is its...More

My husband and I stayed at the Lookout Inn from March 21-24. We reserved their deluxe lodge room, but Terry talked us in to a cabin when we arrived. It was open on 3 sides, although they do have a couple of screened-in cabins. We...More

Hi there, when we stayed at lookout there was a couple who did day tour through park with guide. Quite a hike, they said!it was 24km, hot, up and down. Terry suggested to us (as we were traveling with two kids 4 and 7) to do just the monkey walk starting from end of airstrip to entrance of park and back on the beach. As beautiful, monkeys, frogs, birds, turtle nests, and you might even be lucky to see a puma out there ... But you can decide after arriving, you might decide not to go anywhere ... So beautiful ... I think guide was 60$ per person.
