We were 6 people that first visited Montezuma, place that I recommend for everybody. We asked for a room at Luz en el Cielo, place that has previously been recommended to us, and we were right. Good rooms (we booked a room for all the 6 and it consisted on a 2 floor room with 6 beds and fans, also...

A full breakfast in the morning, friendly and helpful staff, and accomodations in the middle of the jungle with howler monkeys waking you up in the morning. It was an amazing experience. I also really appreciated that they give you a personal fan attached to your bunk bed. For a Canadian like me, it can be hard to sleep in...

Luz en el Cielo was a much-needed break away from mud (SO. MUCH. MUD.) after camping at Arenal in Costa Rica's rainy season, and it had everything we hoped for - beds, a warm shower, clean kitchen and toilets and friendly staff. Great place for chilling in a hammock, reading, or just marveling at the wildlife that inhabits the trees...

This hostel in laid-back Montezuma was everything we wanted. Great location, clean rooms and amazing service. There was hot water!! Jhonny was able to give lots of suggestions for activities and restaurants and made sure we were always happy with everything we booked through him. The breakfast might have been the best we had while in Costa Rica! And having...

This hostel, located in lovely, laid back Montezuma, goes above and beyond to be of service to its clients. I arrived very late at night, and slept in very late the next morning, but the hostel arranged to have a breakfast waiting for me. The hearty breakfast , by the way, is probably the best I've had in any hostel....tasty eggs,...

I have stayed more than once at this fun family style hostel and B&B and loved it every time. Clean, decent accommodations to fit every budget. The hostel is very open, it felt a bit like staying at a treehouse. The accomodations were nice, and the breakfast was without a doubt the best I had during my stay in Costa Rica. The staff was really friendly and attentive.

Nestled in the forest with heaps of wildlife running around (I saw monkeys, iguanas, agoutis, many birds), this beautiful little Eco retreat has a fantastic breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, and sweet open air dorms (with mosquito mesh across windows). While there aren't any big lockers for your whole bag, the whole place feels very homely and secure, and...
