We stayed a week at La Posada Bungalows. It was just as other poster have written. basic rooms, great location, friendly host, Mike and workers, Estabon and Jonathon. They couldn't do enough for you. We met and chatted with other guests, ate dinner with them, when the boys cooked, and also went with Mike to a local Mexican restaurant in...

I was so impressed by this hotel! These really are cute little bungalows with your own hammock, mini kitchen, and closet! These places are like apartments, it's so great! They're very clean and the bed was heaven to sleep on! The hotel does a nice breakfast in the morning and they cook a dinner and play a movie a few...

Last month was my first time in Costa Rica. My girlfriend and I rented a car and travelled all around - from San Jose to La Fortuna, then to Monteverde, Jaco, a few places in between and then Manuel Antonio. We had such a great trip that I know we'll go back, however when that happens we'll probably just stay...

We stayed in the Villa for 6 nights (2 adults, 2 kids) in January but wish it could have been for much longer. The Villa was great. There are 2 double beds upstairs with a full bath and two futons downstairs and another full bath. The kitchen was well stocked with any utensils you might need (and also some much...

We stayed in the Parrot Bungalow for 4 nights and had a great stay. The staff were super friendly and willing to help in any way they could. Breakfast was great every morning with fresh fuit and pancakes or eggs. Our room was spotless. Pool was great and is a good place to see some sloths in the trees above....

We were recommended the La Posada and had read several positive reports on Tripadvisor. We had to give one nights pay, for which we were charged for the more expensive bungalow in error. We actually changed our reservation and arrived a day earlier than planned and were given the bungalow. The moment the door was opened there was a very...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights after reading all positive reviews on TripAdvisor. True, the location is great, the owner is a very nice guy, there're monkeys on property (though, they are everywhere in Manuel Antonio), and the breakfast wasn't bad. Yet, the rooms are quite run-down, there're mold spots both in many places, and there is a...

This is Mike Auvil, the owner, and we are sorry this person had a bad experience and learned a lot from the review. I do not go on here often, but was shocked to see the reviews about mold (we have gone thru the wettest season on record, but that is no excuse). I dropped the ball here as we...

We were intrigued by the reports that they have monkeys come visit their property. So true! We were happy to find a hotel that had a fridge in the room. We knew we would be going to the MA park/beaches for two days, so wanted to pack lunch. We bought a few groceries in Quepos and were good to go....

Right next to the park entrance and the public beach, roll out of bed, have their great breakfast and head into the awesome Manuel Antonio Park with a guide, come back and see more animals in back of the hotel near the pool after lunch (we hung out with about 10 white faced monkeys near the pool - it was...
