We stayed at La Posada and Jungle in March, 2017 with our children, ages 6 and 8. We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms, which was basic, but nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions - we were even encouraged to take some of the pool toys to the beach and they willingly provided clean...

Location was key. It sits right next to the national park (a must-go) and the beach. There's a short path that leads to the main playa. The national park hosts a variety of animals that come and visit the hotel. Nina, the deer, comes everyday accompanied by a bunch of iguanas. It felt safe and the rooms were very clean...

We stayed for a week at La Posada Jungle with our two kids (5 and 7) and we loved it. The bungalo rooms were basic (lacking some charm) but they were clean, a nice size and they had everything we needed. And truthfully we didn`t spend too much time in the rooms. We spent most of the time on the...

Just spent a couple of nights in one of the upstairs suites. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, although a bit overpriced, and the surrounding property is curiously riddled with extraneous junk. Friendly and helpful staff help to offset a mediocre food service. However, La Posada enjoys an undeniably superb location just 15 seconds on foot from the entrance to the...

Very clean and comfortable hotel with good free breakfast, small attached restaurant, small pool, large rooms, comfortable bed, and decent air conditioning. The location is literally next door to the national park entrance, and we saw a troop of howler monkeys from the balcony one morning. It is also a short walk to the Main Street and public beach. So...

Stayed here with our family of five. Comfortable room, excellent and helpful staff and great location. A little pricey if you're on a budget, but other than that, it was excellent. Pool was smaller than expected, and not lit, but still fun. And the fact that it's located at the mouth of the Manuel Antonio national park is awesome! The...

We rented the upstairs house. The location of this place is absolutely the best! It is literally right next to the park. We could walk right in to the park - plus it was a short walk into town. We had two families in the house - 4 adults and 3 kids (all 4 and under). The place is clean....

The location to Manuel Antonio could not be better! We stayed in the La Posada room and we loved it! Both Roger and Oliver and the rest of the staff were simply fantastic! They went above and beyond to make our stay so welcoming! We would make a simple request and they would take it to the next level offering...

We stayed at La Posada, in the two-bedroom La Casa, for two nights in February 2017. We're a family of five, with three children aged 9-13, and had plenty of space. The full kitchen was well equipped and clean, and the living room and sunroom provided plenty of extra space for our two boys to sleep. Lots of choice for...

Last year we stayed here and it was very nice. This year was very different. Last year they kept a fresh picture of lime water sitting at the desk. This year they did not even have bottled water too sell, claiming they ran out. Last year there was a breakfast buffet. This year, you had to order from the menu...
