This places is in a good location, from the room we had a perfect view but to get to the room there are so many stairs that is not handy at all for little kids or seniors. Also missing to have hand towels. Service ok, breakfast good.

We loved this place. The pizza cooked in the wood stove was excellent. They have a nice pool and awesome view. A bonus was the monkeys swinging above us during breakfast, two of which had little babies!

Location great. Ten minute walk to major shopping precinct. For those that are into it there are luxury and designer brands. Outstanding restaurants. Some of the best food nearby that I've had anywhere around the world. Plenty of banks. I'd seen people criticising the location. That's rubbish. The location is outstanding. All that you'd ever need is within a stone's... More

The owners and staff were very nice and accommodating. The food was pretty good as well. The rooms and cleanliness not so much. The rooms need a serious upgrade given the prime location of this hotel.

We stayed at La Colina for a few days on our recent trip to Costa Rica. This hotel is similar to quite a few in the area... the overall property is fairly small and there aren't many rooms. This is both good and bad. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Just don't expect it to be real luxurious. Pool is... More

This place has big clean rooms that fit 4 or 5 people, the area of restaurant and swimming pool are the best, have a great view, not far from town and park. By the disposition of the rooms you may have people staying on the floor above you, and can hear when they talk, and walk, not great.

We got this room through Air BnB and paid a very reasonable rate, lower than what was advertised. The owners, Mike and Natasha, treat you like family. My husband talked to Natasha and Mike and had drinks with Mike. The room was average and very large with two beds, a couch and a table and chairs. We stayed in the... More

A really nice place to lounge when you need a break from traveling. Lots of wildlife on the grounds and very good food. The kids would live there for the pool. Our overall experience was excellent. My only complaint was they are situated near the top of a steep hill and we were housed directly over the road, so traffic... More

We stayed here a couple of nights while visiting Manuel Antonio and had a really good experience. Plenty of hot water, clean rooms, nice view and monkeys on the grounds. I thought the rooms and location were fine for what they costs and the people there were great. The bar & restaurant was some of the best food we had... More
