Pros: proximity to the beach, Manuel Antonio National Park, friendly front desk, lock box in room Cons: little parking availability, no bar, loud guests at the pool late at night, abysmal restaurant (do not eat there; poor service and the food is subpar), no operable windows in rooms so room stays wet (and sandy) the entire time, the gate to...

Spent 5 nights at this hotel on vacation with my boyfriend. Room was nothing special, good sized bed and AC but could have used a fair bit of cleaning. Curtains were covered in mold and so was the door of the fridge. Also found an ants nest living in a wooden shelf. The pool in the hotel was very dirty...

This is a perfect hotel for 1 night it is comfortable and clean and situated right on the beach there are rooms that you can sit on balcony outside but our room did not have that or a terrace which we felt would have improved our experience as it was sea facing the swimming pool is tiny but ok for...

I have stayed here a couple times. The price is very reasonable for being one of the only hotels with access right to the beach. Rooms are clean. Some have tv's and some don't. You may want to ask if you need a tv first. there's plenty of wildlife and a small but descent pool. The help there is great....

We stayed a week in the hotel and was very pleased with it. It is very basic, no luxus at all, but location is simply amazing. 1 min walk from a lovely beach, very close to the National Park and a bus stop. We were not very happy with the cleaning level and wouldn't recommend the hotel restaurant which is...

This is one of the few hotels in MA that is on the beach. Well actually a narrow strip of woods separates the hotel from the beach and is lovely; perhaps better than being directly on the beach. We had a group of monkeys pass through it one morning. We stayed in two of the "villas", which are actually four...

Air conditioning was super nice. Loved being right on the beach. Pool was clean. Despite what I read about the front desk, I found them helpful, though I had no specific requests of them. This was my third trip to Manuel Antonio. As far as I am concerned this will be the only hotel I book in the future.

The hotel was nice and clean, but most important the location was perfect! It has a direct beach access and the National Park Manuel Antonio is in walking distance. There is a bus to Quepos departing in front of the hotel every 15 minutes, perfect in case you don't have a car, especially because there is just one restaurant in...

We were a group of four friends traveling on a budget and weren't expecting much, but this hotel was everything you need and more. It was clean and the Ac worked fine, plus there was a pretty well stocked kitchenette that allowed us to prepare our breakfast and snacks for hikes. There is a very convenient gate that leads directly...

Rooms were spacious and the A/C worked great. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. The location was amazing-right on the beach. The pool was large enough to accommodate people, although when people were playing in the pool it wasn't ideal for relaxing (not...
