This is one of the few hotels in MA that is on the beach. Well actually a narrow strip of woods separates the hotel from the beach and is lovely; perhaps better than being directly on the beach. We had a group of monkeys pass through it one morning. We stayed in two of the "villas", which are actually four...

Air conditioning was super nice. Loved being right on the beach. Pool was clean. Despite what I read about the front desk, I found them helpful, though I had no specific requests of them. This was my third trip to Manuel Antonio. As far as I am concerned this will be the only hotel I book in the future.

The hotel was nice and clean, but most important the location was perfect! It has a direct beach access and the National Park Manuel Antonio is in walking distance. There is a bus to Quepos departing in front of the hotel every 15 minutes, perfect in case you don't have a car, especially because there is just one restaurant in...

We were a group of four friends traveling on a budget and weren't expecting much, but this hotel was everything you need and more. It was clean and the Ac worked fine, plus there was a pretty well stocked kitchenette that allowed us to prepare our breakfast and snacks for hikes. There is a very convenient gate that leads directly...

Rooms were spacious and the A/C worked great. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. The location was amazing-right on the beach. The pool was large enough to accommodate people, although when people were playing in the pool it wasn't ideal for relaxing (not...

This hotel has a nice location on the beach. However, we were a little disappointed with the hotel overall in terms of the rooms and the facilities. We found the pool to be a tad grimy Our biggest issues were that there was nowhere to hang any towels or beach gear, and there was a big problem keeping ants under...

We stayed two nights here. The location was great but the hotel experience was average. We were in the "villas" which are under the restaurant. They are noisy and small with no closet and no chair. The villas are not as nice as the main hotel. Those rooms have kitchenettes and are in a more attractive area. It was very...

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Verde Mar. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well kept. The location is hard to beat- it's steps from the beach and very close to the national park. We did not have a car, and were able to walk to restaurants, beaches, and use the bus/shuttle to get into Quepos.

This hotel is a gem. Moderately priced rooms with two double beds, kitchenette, large walk in closet and large bathroom. Very clean and well furnished for those who want to have a kitchenette while traveling. The beach is right out the gate and the pool is clean and refreshing. The restaurant next door is great. I will stay here again...

We went to Manuel Antonio in the busiest time of the year... December 31st - January 2nd so there wasn't much to choose, everything was already booked when we started searching. If you haven't been to Manuel Antonio, this tip might be useful: you have hotels up in the hill with amazing views but you have to drive or take...
