For this hotel to cost $100 a night even w/breakfast feels high when you fear rats may come to bite you. All night we were entertained by the sound of rats running on the ceiling. They weren't iguanas because you could also hear their screeching as they chew. Oh, we also found a dead crouch underneath our pillow. Bath is...

This hotel is outdated, back to the 70. Nothing has changed since. We reserved the "bungalow" which was in understatement. Just a large room, nothing more. The staff and team members are not interested in their guest. They don't know the word hospitality. The pool is OK, but why is the nice waterfall not fixed. BTW, a lot of things...

Situated slightly outside Manuel Antonio, therefore I'd recommend car hire. Check in was straightforward, room was spacious with back terrace facing the forest complete with hammock. You can hear sounds of monkeys, birds and other wildlife, which adds to the appeal of the area. The rooms are a little dated, we had issues with air conditioning, which remained unrectified, despite...

Price and location were decent, but we had two problems. 1) The wifi did not reach our rooms! We had to sit near the pool, or somewhere else nearer the office. Easily solveable, but they showed little concerns. 2) We booked a snorkeling tour through them, and were advised we'd be picked up at 3. We asked them to confirm...

We found the room musty, and rather stuffy. The breakfast was not very good, though it was made lively by a group of (I think they were Capuchin) monkeys. The owner of the hotel was already drinking by mid-morning and was unpleasant when we asked to check out about half an hour later as we had arrived only at 12...

I actually liked this hotel and the location. Restaurant and bar was cozy with very friendly people and staff. Pool was also very good. However, the room smelled of mildew. I was hoping this smell would dissipate once the room was aired out but it never did.

We went to this hotel to visit Manuel Antonio Beach. It is located about 15 minutes from it. The owner was working at the bar. He was nice and welcoming. Our issue has more to do with the room we got. We found a couple of buggers on the walls, the bathroom could have been cleaner and the beds definitely...
