Great property with tropical foliage and wildlife including monkeys, birds, etc. wonderful staff in reception and dining! Rooms need some updating but they were clean and had a nice balcony with ocean view. Close to park, beaches, restaurants, walkable but we had a rental car and drove mostly.

I was familiar with Byblos before booking an extended weekend there. We had stopped there in the past to watch monkeys or grab a pizza to go. But honestly, I was not so sure about staying there. However, they had a great special going for a steal and I figured it was worth a try. We stayed in a bungalow...

Situated about 5km from the park entrance the Byblos was a nice, comfortable hotel. There is free wifi in rooms, air conditioning, a refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. Rooms were also clean and pleasantly decorated. The pool area is next to their main restaurant and surrounded on two sides by the rainforest. The restaurant also makes terrific pizzas. Many of...

Okay. So my daughter and I were missing the jungle and just needed to see monkeys. So...we took off to Manuel Antonio and stayed at Byblos specifically for this reason. We were surprised!! This is one of the oldest hotels in Manuel Antonio, and while we have eaten at Bybos and visited the bar on occasion in the past, we...

We stayed in a bungalow, highly recommended. It was set back in a jungle atmosphere. We saw squirrel monkeys, heard howler monkeys in the early morning, and saw an agouti. The bungalow was large and had everything we needed. It was great to have a front porch to sit and enjoy nature. We stayed during rainy/low season and were the...

Overall a very nice hotel. I stayed at a bungalow, it did look bigger in the picture, but still, it was ok. Nice staff (I almost forget my charger and thay call me before we left), nice food, nice pool. The thing i liked the most was the vegetation and the green areas, they are amazing. It has a good...

I was lucky enough to stay with my wife at one of the bungalows they offer for rent, and I haven't had such a relaxing trip, feeling disconnected with the world for a few days. The little houses amongst trees and intricate walkways makes it feel as if you were really staying in the middle of a jungle. The accommodations...

There's so many places to stay in Manuel Antonio that are better than this place. For the price, I expected the place to be better. Place looks run down. Needs remodeling, the drains in the shower and toilets were bad. The A/C unit was pretty much on the floor. Poor location for that. Only good thing was the wild life....

We stayed at this hotel for the last 3 days of our 10-day Gate 1 Travel tour of San Jose, Arenal Volcano, Monteverde and Manuel Antonio. It is a short drive down the hill to the beach and the national park nearby. However, I was truly amazed at all the wildlife in and around the forest surrounding the hotel pool....
