Had a great time at Byblos. Music, foosball, pool, Jenga and drinks a-flowing. Short walking distance from Tulemar/Buena Vista luxury suites. Met the towns namesake who was a hoot. Played a serious game of Jenga and his quick eye and push makes me laugh every time I think about it.

If you love nature and the sound of Howler monkeys in the early morning then this is a great place to stay. If you don't care that the shower in your jungle bungalow doesn't drain well, then you will be OK in this older resort. We really enjoyed the hotel despite the maintenance issues. Nature was all around. The pool...

Visited this hotel with my father, my brother and my nephew. Hotel is very old hotel, the rooms are decrepit (the pics online are definitely not a fair representation of reality) and the restaurant terribly expensive (they made us pay $7 dollars for 4 burnt slices of bacon). On the bright side, the location is great. I will not however...

Great property with tropical foliage and wildlife including monkeys, birds, etc. wonderful staff in reception and dining! Rooms need some updating but they were clean and had a nice balcony with ocean view. Close to park, beaches, restaurants, walkable but we had a rental car and drove mostly.

I was familiar with Byblos before booking an extended weekend there. We had stopped there in the past to watch monkeys or grab a pizza to go. But honestly, I was not so sure about staying there. However, they had a great special going for a steal and I figured it was worth a try. We stayed in a bungalow...

Situated about 5km from the park entrance the Byblos was a nice, comfortable hotel. There is free wifi in rooms, air conditioning, a refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. Rooms were also clean and pleasantly decorated. The pool area is next to their main restaurant and surrounded on two sides by the rainforest. The restaurant also makes terrific pizzas. Many of...

Okay. So my daughter and I were missing the jungle and just needed to see monkeys. So...we took off to Manuel Antonio and stayed at Byblos specifically for this reason. We were surprised!! This is one of the oldest hotels in Manuel Antonio, and while we have eaten at Bybos and visited the bar on occasion in the past, we...
