A great place to stay if you want a more sophisticated Costa Rica experience. Fantastically well maintained with a pleasant ambiance and very friendly staff. Service in line with any large international hotel and dealt with the busier periods well. Food was good and nicely varied and had good veggie options for the non meat eaters in the family. Even... Absolutely the best service we have ever received at any hotel anywhere! Lenin at the beach was so sweet, snorkling was awesome, Gentleman who hosted the night frog tour was fantastic...and the tour of Manuel Antonio Nat'l Park! What an amazing time. We will cherish our stay there forever.

We found deal on Livingsocial. I was nervous to make the purchase but after reading reviews and seeing others have done the same I felt comfortable with it. It gave us an option to get a suite along with a National Park tour, $50 spa credit, and complimentary internet. The biggest issue with this process was securing the reservation. We... More

The hotel is lovely - the pool overlooks the ocean and you have breathtaking views everywhere. The staff is very, very attentive and helpful. I loved my room - clean, spacious, comfortable bed, good AC and free wifi. There is a nearby beach, Biensanz, that is worth visiting. Nice place to stay at.

My family of 9 people checked in today. We have three rooms. The rooms are outdated, small, dark and dirty. Our room has a tub that doesn't drain. The bathroom is infested with ants (dead and alive). The air conditioner leaked all over one of our bags. They fixed the air conditioner and superficially cleaned the bathroom but left the... More

We stayed at Hotel Parador with our two kids, ages 8 and 10, as the second part of our trip. The first place we stayed at was very new and ultra posh, so this place had a lot to live up to. The grounds were gorgeous-- the infinity view from the family pool is amazing. There are monkeys and iguanas... More

We only got to stay one night but greatly enjoyed our stay. One our walk through the trails we saw sloths, monkeys, and iguanas. The pool is wonderful, rooms are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a room overlooking the tennis courts. Not a great view, but with the heat, there was no danger of any noisy tennis games breaking out. Not sure how much more tower rooms cost, but it may be worth it to have a better view. The hotel has a great activities center and booked a good mango tour... More

You're so right: it was hot in Manuel Antonio in February! As part of our sustainability efforts we try to keep our common areas—including our indoor/outdoor restaurants—as cool as possible using fans and the breeze, but sometimes it does get a bit warmer than we'd like. We're glad you were able to enjoy viewing the wildlife and a visit to... More
