This hotel is one of the few in the area that has its own grounds that run from the top of the hill with a view all the way down to the the sea through a forest. Staff are outstanding and well-trained. The accommodation (and three pools at least) and other building are distributed around a series of well-maintained paths,...

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Parador for 4 nights on April 2017. We hadn't had a vacations in a while and so we opted for a luxury hotel to give ourselves a treat after so long. Unfortunately I can't say Parador met our expectations for a luxury hotel. I think we didn't get what we paid for. The...

We ended our 15 night vacation with 5 days at the Parador. Our check in experience was quite "coid". A bit like they were doing us a favour having us. Please bare in mind we booked two top rooms. For the most the staff were very hardworking and pleasant. Particular the Bar Staff and Waiters/Waitresses. As I said check-in was...

We had a beautiful sea view room which was spacious and had everything we needed in it. It was on the top floor of the hotel and had to be reached by a little funicular railway which ran up outside the building and held about three people at a time, the views from it were wonderful. It was something a...

Friends have stayed here and highly recommended the hotel (albeit 10 years ago) so we were really looking forward to staying here. Fortunately we were able to check into the room early. This was a garden view room and we were able to watch monkeys and macaws, unfortunately we didn't notice the room had an access door to the next...

This was our last stop in Costa Rica after a week of travel. The resort is for the most part nice and the staff were for the most part friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nature trail where we saw a sloth hanging from a tree on our way home from dinner one night. There is a lot of...

This is a beautiful resort hotel, which we don't tend to stay at, but got a great deal, so did! The people are very nice (oh, the ladies for turn-down...so sweet!) and attentive. The grounds were beautiful, good things to do, shuttle to Manuel Antonio beach, and enough to keep you in the area. It still was the people that...

We stayed 1 week at the hotel and we were pleasant surprised apart from the room, see later. The bar areas and restaurants are well appointed with great views. We made use of the free hotel shuttle bus into Manuel Antonio town and also when we went into the national park. The last bus into town is 5.35pm, so go...

Hotel Parador was our last stop of the vacation. We stayed for 3 nights. Check-in was OK; our concierge was not overly friendly. I booked a Garden Room and after seeing the room decided it would not meet our needs. I called the front desk and was asked why I wanted to change rooms and I explained I was expecting...

I struggled a bit with how many stars to give this resort, but decided it deserved four for being a great place for families to enjoy Manuel Antonio, the beaches and adventure activities. Our room was comfortable and best of all, except for one night, had great A/C. Be sure your settings are right. Service was great--always prompt and friendly....
