My wife and I have been blessed since we have been able to travel to many places. Having said that and comparing to other 5 star hotels, i would rate this one on the lower side. Service was not good (understanding that easter week is crowds everywhere, but you should expect great service always, specially since we stayed at the...

Finely returned to Costa Rica after 40 years, found the people still friendly, and the country beautiful, I highly recommend it as a vacation destination. The animals were our main purpose for going to that part of CR. Sitting on our deck before sunset saw toucans, monkeys, parrots, and sloths. We couldn’t have been happier. Quepos was a bit touristy...

With a tear in my eye we say goodbye to the best vacation our family has been on! This hotel is more than an accommodation it's an experience! There are garden rooms (we stayed in them) rooms with a view higher up that you get to by riding in a small private vernicular, there are vista suites at the top...

My husband and I had to discuss this review before I gave it. Honestly if it were a four star hotel I would have given it a 4 star review. But it is a 5 star resort. So I rated it as a 5 star. Positives: clean, great friendly staff (except front desk), nice layout, multiple activity option, spa was...

We stayed here for three nights as part of a Riviera Travel tour. Our room was huge, beautifully appointed and had a wonderful view of the nearby Pacific. The staff were,in the main, welcoming and helpful.Excellent food. The best feature for us,though, were the grounds, which were full of monkeys, iguanas and countless other animals. Some small niggles; the hotel have a policy of charging a minimum of...

Our group (20) stayed here and experienced excellent service, accommodation and food selections and quality. The birds are varied and exquisite. The two pools (children/all ages & the adult pool) were very enjoyable.

Resort style hotel so popular with families (if you are not travelling with children I would avoid during school holidays) with large restaurant, bar serving snacks, several pools (but none for serious swimmers), monkey trail, pleasant grounds. Rooms are spacious with plenty of power points, fridge, coffee making, good sized bathroom and shower (no bath) but few towels and toiletries...

This hotel is top notch. We stayed for 4 days and enjoyed the pools and the scenery. There is a free shuttle that takes you to Playa Espadilla where you can rent 2 chairs and an umbrella for $12 per day. At the hotel, the food is pricey so I suggest going to restaurants in town if you are on...

Spent 3 nights with family including a 9 and 7 year old. The grounds and the tours made this a great experience. The pool was well designed and kept our kids entertained. May want to pack a small pool toy if your kids are our age are younger. It does have a beach entry. The Monkey trails provided plenty of...
