The room and views were incredible (we were on the top floor with multi-sided balcony). The pools were good and the happy hours! Downside is this hotel is on a cliff, expect alot of climbing. A couple of things went wrong at the hotel. The exterior elevator stopped working, with us in it. Unfortunately the phone the elevator did not...

I stayed at the Parador for five nights at the end of February. The garden plus room was spacious and clean with a large bathroom and balcony. The grounds, pools and restaurants were also well kept and although the resort is quite large, it was easy to get around. The breakfast buffet (included) was excellent with a variety of American...

We really enjoyed our stay, beautiful view, big rooms and a delicious breakfast. Great parking for our hire car, which you do need to get to bars/restaurants. To steep and long for our children to walk. Would defiantly return.

Good location with superb views, good facilities, and generally good service. Shuttle service to the park etc is excellent. Restaurants good quality (and not overpriced by CR standards). Service generally high standard, but can seem stressed at busy times. Rooms variable - some with excellent views.

The complete incompetence in their restaurant and welcoming a large group was surprising. I am not a petty person but this was beyond any norm. We went to check in and it took a LONG time to do so (and there was no line). But the restaurant...we had a group meal that took nearly 3 hours. Salads took 45 minutes....

This is a large Hotel situated quite close to the Manuel Antonio Park. Very good accommodation and facilities although relatively expensive. The Hotel is not that easy to locate - a right turn about 3kms before you reach the Park - signposted at junction, but not easy to see. About 2Kms along the minor road the Parador is to be...

Excellent room and comfortable accomodations. The pool and garden areas are lovely and inviting. The only weakness is the dinner dining. We experienced very slow service and even canceled our entree after it took an hour for food to arrive. The menu offered some excellent choices such as the grilled octopus. Drink service before dinner was very slow and the...

My fiance and I decided to have a destination wedding. Neither of us had been to Costa Rica so we decided to have a small 30 guest wedding. We found Parador through a travel agent's recommendation. Upon arrival at Parador my fiance and I were treated like royalty. Our wedding coordinator Harold greeted us and told us there was a...

Being an experienced international traveller having been around the world a few times staying in 4* & 5* Hotels I need to put the record straight on the Parador. The room and housekeeping were acceptable. But the one only resteraunt is not good as catering mainly for the many USA visitors. It's dinner menu is lacking in choice, standard of...

We stayed here for three nights. Loved the location, the hotel, the staff, the pool BUT we found the information regarding the bars and eating arrangements confusing. Evening dining is very expensive, the menu restrictive and a 50 minute wait each night to get a very limited choice of food was disappointing. The service was extremely slow and the evening...
