Located close to park and beach. ONLY POSITIVE THING. Rooms, disgusting. Bedding, unclean with holes. Staff, rude, not helpful just son awful. The rooms are paper thin walls could hear everything outside and inside from the dorm. My dorm was supposed to be "women only" they said when I checked in. I was the only one there until 10 males...

This place was filthy. We were a large-ish group. Some had reservations for the dorms and others had reservations for private rooms. The dorm room that the group got had beer cans and socks in it (there was no one else assigned to the room but our group). I was given keys for the private rooms, I found one of...

Worst hostel experience ever. Nothing in this place is well maintained, the kitchen is a nightmare. We sided with the fact that we wouldn't be spending much time in the hostel so left our bags in the lockers for the day, upon returning at 1030pm I found bed bugs!!! They put us in a 3 bed a/c room which was...

A hostel with so much potential but probably the worst service we have ever had in any country. Firstly they don't respond to reservation requests or Facebook msg's. This was two separate groups who tried to book. Upon arriving we were told there were only female dorm rooms or privates. My partner would have to sleep in a dorm whilst...

I went to Manuel Antonio for a weekend with some friends. We stayed at the hostel part of the hotel. They have a good pool, the service at the reception is really nice. The price for the hostal is accessible $12 a night. El Faro beach hostal is a good choice if you want to spent only a few nights...

Favourite hostel I stayed at in Manuel Antonio. This hostel is just oozing in good vibes! Loved cooking in the open kitchen and enjoying my meal outside. Being so close to the National Park, the howler monkies singing is amazing! And you're a quick 5 minute walk from the beach. This place is fantastic, would love to stay here again.

The rooms are super small; the bedding was old and with holes on the sheets. The ONLY thing you're paying for is the fact that the hostel is 50mts from the entrance of the park; don't expect absolutely anything else out if the hostel. You could hear everything on the other rooms, the bathrooms are dirty. One small thing that...

Pros - awesome location (50m from the park entrance, 250m from supermarket and public beach - nightly movies (volume was really low but it's good for early sleepers) - 11PM curfew (will come back in the cons) - bathrooms and toilets are clean and abundant Cons - Got a reservation for a private room but needed to switch for another...

Pro's: Good location, cheap, pool Con's: Dirty bedding Uncomfortable beds- my friend woke up with bruises, no joke Misleading photos- make sure you check the fine print about the rooms and beds, and don't assume that it'll be anything like the pictures Hot- most rooms have a fan but no AC. It's okay at night, but during the day, you...

Great pool and kitchen facilities. Great staff. Especially Allan. Okay dormitories if you only use it to sleep. Lots of people,p some you are the type that likes to go to bed early and need a quiet night, then it might not be the best place for you. On the other hand it is perfect for the type who love...
