The location was excellent. A bus runs every 20 minutes along the coast. We used this several times. If not taxis always seemed to be about. There's a 5min walk to a fabulous beach - passing iguanas. We were there in early April. I was a little aware of the riptides in the sea - I love swimming but was...

When I arrived I assumed it was a youth hostel that appeared to be run by teenagers. My option improved slightly - just. The good points - easy walk to the beach, surrounded by jungle so squirrel and howler monkeys can often bee seen passing through. The bus to Quepo stops out front. Plenty of places close by to eat...

We really loved this hotel. Set up in the trees we loved watching the monkeys in the trees. Excellent location , five minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Manual Antonio Park, Very clean, comfortable rooms and the staff were always extremely nice and helpful. Absolutely loved staying here. Upon my arrival, the young girl was so nice and very accommodating, I arrived early and she tried her best to make sure mine was the first one ready. I had a chicken taco and smoothie by the pool in the back and both were good. The woman making the food was so nice and helpful....

The owner Chris Norris exchanged $40 US for a fee of $10 He claimed that 15% was the usual fee to use the credit card machine of which he has to pay fees each time he uses it. $6 should have been the fee but he had no problem overcharging me. He is an American owner and I would not...

Our family of 4 ( with 2 teens) really enjoyed the location. Small but great pool, taco bar on property, beach access across the street (3min), 15 minute walk to park and lots of restaurants close by. The room has a queen bed and bunk bed which was perfect for us. Small bath and the water did get everywhere. Several...

Nice place in many respects but the bedding and bath towels need to be replaced yesterday. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good. Not the best for couples but the monkeys here are better than the park wildlife for sure. Monkeys wake you very early.

We had a good time staying here. Plenty on wildlife roaming on the grounds. Certainly good for the price and close beach access where I seen the most beautiful sunset I've sever seen. I would stay away from the food and drinks at the pool bar. Drinks were made with whole fruits but they only have a regular blender which...

This hotel was more like a guest house with friendly staff.Good airconditioning and fan but breakfast served outdoors so mozzy spray needed. They also have a 'taco bar'. But you might see the lovely squirrel monkeys that pass through and lounge in the hotel trees which you wouldn't see inside.. Basic breakfast. Small but adequate and clean pool. No sunloungers...

Right across from a beautiful beach and a 10 minute stroll to the park. Woke up to about 30 monkeys in the trees out front. Just awesome. The tacos at the taco bar were great. Our room had three double beds for the 5 of us which made it a little tight, but being so close to the beach and...
