Our family was very impressed with our stay. The rooms and living space was perfect for our family of six. Staff was excellent. Views from pool are stunning. Having your own private beach is a nice touch. Very clean and well kept grounds. Loved it.
Los Altos boasts an all around 5 star experience. I would highly recommend this resort for romantic getaways, groups of friends and business retreats. Los Altos has it all and offers it up with a smile!

Manuel Antonio Beach, which is about a five minute drive down the hill has good surf and the kids can rent surf boards or take lessons there if they want. The staff at Los Altos can arrange the rental/lessons.

From the hotel, you can walk to the village and there were bars with live music. We liked the vibe as quite rustic, good drinks and cool outdoor atmosphere. Think casual though. With a taxi, you can go more towards Manuel Antonio (small village as well but higher population). Loads of hostels there. May have clubs but did not recall seeing any.
