We had a great experience here! This is a higher end villa with all the things needed to be a home away from home. Its in a great location near great shops/restaurants. The pool stays cool and the deck has a breathtaking view. We would stay here again.

Our family of six had an incredible time staying here at Villa Manuel Antonio! Let me first say that while searching, I messaged the owner, Laurent, and asked him about public transportation availability and ease as one of my sons is on crutches. Laurent called me to let me know that the transportation was fine, but that there were stairs...

Our group consisted of (17) ranging in age from 18 to 81 for a family reuinion for Mom's 80th Birthday. We occupied floors 3 to 6 and had two kitchens. In our 7 nite stay, we cooked two dinners in...enough plates, pots, pans utensils and what not to get the job done. The villa is conveniently located to dining, shopping,...

11 of us shared the 7-bedroom townhouse. It was 3 floors, bathroom and lounge on each floor. Full kitchen. High Speed (for Costa Rica) internet with wifi. Back patio has hammocks and a banquet table. There is a pool with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Host was a good resource for setting up reservations in the area. Housekeeping made...

Eleven of us shared the top 3 floors of Villa Manuel Antonio. We were greeted upon arrival by host Laurent/Lorenzo and briefly shown the ins and outs. The place was clean and tidy with freshly made beds and an ample supply of towels and washcloths. Bedrooms are air-conditioned, but the main living areas on all three floors are not. These...

Every year for Christmas/New Year's, we travel to Manuel Antonio. We've stayed at various locations and have found that Villa Manuel Antonio meets our needs the best. Lorenzo, the owner, stays on the property (something we like - added security) and is EASILY accessible if we ever have a question. That being said, he is also unobtrusive and allows us...

My wife and I were extraordinarily lucky that we chose this house for an 8 day rental. The interior is well designed, immaculate and roomy with gorgeous views of the Pacific and the jungle. The location is also great for convenience to restaurants and groceries, etc. Laurent, the owner, lives in a separate unit on the property and takes pride...

We went to Manuel Antonio and rent this huge house for 30+ people. It was nice that a huge group as ours fit in one place. The views from the rooms were stunning. The house is in really good shape but I didn't like the small pool. Also the house is far from the beach. However we really enjoy our...

We rented this house for 25 adults. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and perfect in every way - location couldn't be better, etc. We had quite a few issues with the owner, Lorenzo. For one, we were not aware he would be living on site with us. This caused issues when he would come out at 10pm to warn...

Cheers! We are looking forward to visiting world's most breathtakingly beautiful, pristine, tropical paradise / nature preserve !!! Well be in Costa Rica 3 weeks during mid-October for Dental surgery M-F, & would love to visit Manuel Antonio for 1-2-3 weekends, arriving Fri pm dinner - Mon am breakfast. We wish to be good guests! We are concerned about our dietary restrictions, & this note inquires about meals:

We don't plan to rent a car, & wish to remain at our hotel after dark. We eat only vegetarian diet- No animal, no dairy (No animal ingredients, no milk / eggs / yogurt /cheese / etc.). Due to Dental surgeries & extensive Dental work, we'll need soft foods only. Due to various health reasons, we must eat a low-fat, 0-salt diet (no added salt / oils). We enjoy fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts, + fish occasionally. We love Gallo pinto!

Due to dietary restrictions, we are quite unsure whether we should come at all- We want to be good guests! Please advise: Is breakfast served? If yes, are vegetarian choices available? What is cost? Are there affordable local eateries within walking distance?

*** Idea: Is there any chance (?) that you may know of a local Tica, whom we may hire to come once daily, to do all grocery shopping, & prepare / refrigerate plentiful meals & snacks? (2 Adults, 2-4 day stay)? mid-October.

We prefer, & are humbly grateful to hire a (local) Tica- not a "professional chef"! We hope to enjoy fresh, local meals- nothing "fancy"! Arrive Fri night - Mon am; Possibly 2- 3 consecutive weekends during mid-October.

Much appreciation for any info!
