This place is a gem. Right on the edge of the Mal Pais main drag but just so relaxing. Lovely villas, great pool and the manager / staff are lovely. Woken up by howler monkeys which was sort of unique! You turn off the road and it's a really quiet peaceful place to just de-stress!

My family stayed here in November and had a wonderful time. The bungalow was the perfect size for us. Our kids (8 and 9 yrs old) slept out in the living area and my wife and I had the bedroom. The bungalows are very nice, but more like "glamping" than a posh hotel room. That's actually what liked about it....

A great place to spend your time in the Mal Pais area (playa Carmel, Santa Teresa etc). Guillermo is an amazing host and made us feel very welcome and on hand at all hours to answer questions and make recommendations. The hotel is well situated, close to the beach but thankfully away from the hustle and bustle of the Main...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Oasis for a week & a half in January. This was our first visit to Costa Rica. We were looking for a quiet & relaxing setting and the Oasis delivered. We stayed in one of the air conditioned suites next to the pool. Suite #4. It had everything we needed to make our...

The rooms and the grounds were well kept and clean, the owners were helpful and informative, and the location is a short walk to the beach and the many restaurants in mal pais. I would stay here again if I returned to mal pais.

We ( family of 4) loved loved loved Oasis. We were in a self catering bungalow, well equipped and with water filter. Immaculately clean and all the sheets towels etc smelt delicious! Very relaxed atmosphere, boogie boards and surf boards to rent at very reasonable prices. Lovely staff who seem to be at work 24-7 and still smile. Mal país...

A lovely small hotel that is spotlessly clean. We stayed in one of the two studios and agree that the one on the far end is the most private - no one going past your room. The small kitchen outside has absolutely everything you could want if you want to eat a few meals in - even a blender for...

Loved my 2 night stay here! It's a gorgeous little hotel set back off the road in the jungle. Kitchen facilities outside the room which I think is a brilliant idea. Also a water cooler - which is a life saver in this super, super hot weather! Really friendly owner and staff. Only downside is the pool area doesn't get...

A wonderful find in mal pais, as soon as we arrived we asked if we could stay longer. Unfortunately a family member had beaten us to it! Everything was perfect, the pool was lovely. About a 5 minute walk to banks and the first few shops. Only small thing was that we have stayed in lots of self catered places...
