Hotel Catalina was amazing! Soon as we arrived Naomie was like a friend always there to answer all ours questions. We were the only one in the hotel for like 3 days! The rooms are very clean and spacious, I DO Recommend you to take the room with A/C it worth the 10$ more believe me! The second day around...

I spent a week vacationing in Jaco, and was highly recommended by an acquaintance to stay at the Aparthotel Catalina. After my experience there, I would give the same exact recommendation to anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica. The owners, Sandra and Naomi, made me feel very comfortable during my stay, and were more than eager to help me...

We stayed at the Hotel Catalina at the suggestion of friends who had stayed there before. They were in love with the Hotel Catalina from their previous stays and within minutes of being there my husband and I could see why. Naomi and Sandra make you feel comfortable and at home..as if you are at your home away from home....

For our first trip to Costa Rica, we could not have selected a better place to stay! We loved the proximity to Jaco - an easy 20 minute walk or $2 taxi ride, but on a quiet strip on the beach. It was lovely to sleep with the only sounds of the ocean lulling us to sleep. Naomi treated us...

The more I travel, the more I appreciate Hotel Catalina. This is a very comfortable and friendly place to stay. The location in the southern end of Jaco is perfect - peaceful, quiet, tranquil and yet close enough to downtown to walk and take advantage of all the amenities. This hotel's location is key. You're sitting right on the beach...

My family and friends and I just love the Catalina! My daughter and I have been visiting the Catalina for the last eight or nine years. It is right ON the beach; on the lovely and quiet south end of Jaco. This is a moderately priced accommodation which is extremely comfortable. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, simply but fully...

We were recommended to this hotel by a couple who lives in Costa Rica. It’s a great location, right on the beach. We tried to find the place without directions. We got close but finally we called Naomi on the cell and She guided us to the gated entrance. There, we borrowed a boogie board and enjoyed the warm surf...

I stayed at Hotel Catalina with my girlfriend over Christmas break. We were looking for something quiet on the edge of Jaco, which can get a little loud downtown sometimes. We found perfection at Hotel Catalina. After we were dropped off by our taxi, Naomi greeted me by name at the gate. The hotel was empty at the time and...

The Hotel Catalina is a wonderful choice for a beachfront vacation in Costa Rica. The owners will arrange a driver and van to pick you up at the Airport in San Jose and drive you to the hotel/beach. The hotel is a bit of a secret: picturesque with clean rooms and simple charm. Family owned and maintained. It's wonderful to...

It was relatively quiet when I visited, apart from the amazing thunderstorms over the bay that we could watch from the patio. The rooms are spacious and very well kept. The domesticated four-legged company is a big plus as well, since I don't have any pets of my own. Would definitely stay here again and would heartily recommend it (and...
