I stayed at Jaco Inn for a week for the surf camp and absolutely loved every part of it! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, the surf instructors super capable and the hostel itself beautiful and well equipped. I hope to be back soon!
Welcomed by Jordan, a very mi casa es tu casa kinda dude with helpful local suggestions. Thank you Jordan. Some plumbing problems with the shower at the time, but I got the dorm to myself, and a functional washroom just next door, so all cool, fair trade bananas. Perfect central location, just off the main drag, enough inset to be a garden retreat. A yogasurfers' kinda place. Decent value for money for Jaco, which is set up as a Mesoamerican surfspot for Californian springbreakers & general US summer holidaymakers, with prices to match. It does what it says on the tin. But fine as a stopover from San Joe to Man Ant. And I found a good people-watching balcony with an extended happy hour, so all cool, fair trade bananas.
I booked the private room above the kitchen for one night when I was passing through Jaco on the way to Santa Teresa. I had been camping for 5 days before and was so relieved to step into my clean and tidy bedroom, with a big queen-sized bed and a powerful fan. The way the room is designed, light and sound get in very easily so it may not be a good place for light sleepers. Overall, Jaco Inn was clean, relaxing, and had everything I needed.
I stayed in jaco inn for 3 nights. First of all the staff are so helpful ! The room and shower was comfortable. Very nice kitchen and everyone are cooking.. Great atmosphere, I had a perfect time. Very recommend
Clean, safe, fully equipped with all the necessary tools and amenities for your comfortable staying in Jaco. Strategic location, close to everything, beach, restaurants, shops, Bars and other activities and tours.
This place is perfectly located right across the street from the beach. The city has everything one needs. The surrounding beaches each offer something unique. I recommend staying here as part of your trip to Costa Rica!
My home away from home. I love you guys. I spent two months teaching yoga here in February 2019 and the family who owns the hostel and coffee shop (Cafe Bohio) property are the most beautiful family I have ever worked with who care about and know people. I enjoyed every moment teaching yoga and live here. My honor to teach everyone traveling through Jaco Inn. Guests who joined us for yoga included aerial silk artists, acro-yoga experts, musicians, backpackers from around the world, cyclists, dancers, surfers, beginners, advanced, curious and all of them happy. We even had puppy yoga one evening with our puppy, Rasta, who we were babysitting for a friend and Full Moon Yoga illuminated with tiki torches. There is a good vibe at Jaco Inn. Call about yoga classes and enjoy a very nice hostel with all different types of accommodations. Owned and managed by family of historic relevance in Jaco. They take family pride in their home we are so lucky to share. Thank you for taking pride in the beautiful land and family you share. The hostel is beautiful. Perfect location, center of town; yet, safe and secure. Happy travels. Godspeed. Namaste.…
I stayed in a female only dorm. Lovely group of ladies staying in there, the hostel definitely attracted a cool, chill crowd. Great location central to everything. By the restaurants and nightlife, but set far back enough that you do not hear much. I highly recommend staying here!
What a great place to stay on our first trip to Jaco. The staff was friendly, professional and always had a recommendation whether we needed a good surfing spot, a good surfing instructor or restaurant and bar. We stayed in the hanger and our room was excellent. Nice , big and clean. Lots of places to simply chill but also places to sit and chat with new friends. I've stayed in Hostel in Europe North America even including Alaska and this is my favorite by far. I'm almost 62, my daughter just turned 30 and we had a simply outstanding time. I will return and bring my wife for a visit. No doubt. I heartily recommend the Jaco Inn. Bobby & Maggie Centers Augusta, GA.
It was great to walk through the garden behind the bars for your quiet accommodation. The atmosphere was very relaxed, the only thing is that it can be quite hot and there is no pool or A/C to cool down.
