I don't even know where to start. My husband and I came to Saladero for a week long honeymoon. I did a lot of research on the lodge months in advance to coming, and it was still better than I could have ever anticipated. We chose the lodge because we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of...

My husband and I stayed at Saladero Eco Lodge in April after planning what was for us--the trip of a lifetime. Our only hope now, is that we get to take this trip more than once in a lifetime. The eco lodge is everything we were looking for and so much more--beauty, remoteness, and a chance to connect and learn...

What a fantastic place, what wonderful people. Coming back for a second stint at Saladero, this time to experience the rainy season and bring our families along for the ride. Just seeing Harvey and Susan again is well worth the price of admission, but with the additions of the Glamping cabins, paddle boards, revised trail network, and the wonderful on-site...

We spent 3 days at the Saladero Eco Lodge in April. What an amazing place! We loved exploring the trails on the property, kayaking, snorkeling, and just relaxing. The cabins were very nice, clean and comfortable. What really makes this place really special, though, are Harvey and Susan. They immediately make you feel like longtime friends and are both so...

We stayed at three different lodges in Costa Rica and this was our son's favorite! He got to snorkel for the first time, he loved the food, he loved playing with the dogs, and he dug the lodging. It was also very educational for him-Harvey and Susan showed him where the fruit juices he was drinking came from, and the...

This was such a wonderful escape from the cold winter we just had in Boston! From the boat ride across Golfo Dulche to the delicious healthful meals (loved the coconut cookies for dessert) prepared by our hosts, this vacation is one of our best. The setting is beautiful and the hosts, Susan and Harvey are simply lovely people. Susan gave...

The most peaceful place we`ve been. Harvey and Susan are a very friendly and interesting couple. They like to share their love for the place and the nature all around with the guests. We could stay in the beach house and felt like king and queen of the golfo dulce. The evening sunsets are great and we loved to get...

Before arriving I was a little skeptical that Saladero could live up to the reviews. It did! As mentioned in many reviews, Susan and Harvey are amazing hosts, who really make you feel that you are visiting old friends. Our 3 days were spent kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, fishing, swimming and just relaxing. We were staying in the Tree House...

My brother and I had the most fantastic 6 days at Saladero Eco Lodge. The couple - Harvey and Susan - that runs the place, are very (like in VERY) nice and caring people. When you are in a place, so remote from everything as you are at Saladero Eco Lodge, it plays a huge role. But no worries there...
