What can I say, a truly amazing experience! The owner and team of staff know how to give a luxury experience. The food was the best we had in all of C.R. that beat out the likes of the Four Seasons and Andaz. The difference between this place and all the others we stayed at, is the mere fact that all the adventure awaits you right out the door....Seriously. No Transport, just simply walk out and your guide awaits you. Pro Tip - sign up for the white water rafting, horseback ride, MTB Tour, and don't forget the couples massage on the patio of your room. The pool, spa, and waterslide are awesome. The wildlife is abundant. The adventure is real. The beer is COLD. Enjoy. - Homeschool Family of Five.
We had a fantastic time in rafiki safari in February 21. Rafting was a blast, our kids (daughters of 8 and 3) were floating in the river and bathing in the waterfalls. The slides was awesome the hot pool had a fantastic view. The whole place was just so relaxed we totally loved it. And everybody was so nice. Horse riding was great too. And traveling in the pandemic was no problem, everybody keeps to the protocols!
Oh. M. Gee. This place is so unique and relaxing you won’t ever want to leave! The food and drinks were on point. The staff were some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. The views, the crazy slide, the tents, everything was perfect! I highly recommend the horse back and rafting tour! This was my husbands favorite part of the whole 10 day stay in the country. You will not regret this stay!
We loved our time at Rafiki so much, we wish we could have stayed longer! The staff were attentive and helpful, the cabins were clean and comfy, the views were breathtaking, the pool was cold but clean and fun, the food was fantastic, trails were groomed leading to waterfalls and springs... Take any tour you can! The guides are teeming with knowledge of the ecosystems around the lodge. We enjoyed our kayak trip down the river and through the mangroves to matapalo to enjoy an epic sunset and watch rays play in the surf. Highly reccomend all age groups visit and enjoy this this experience!!!
We have stayed in safari lodges in Africa. This was the most luxurious we have encountered. Our tent had 3 beds (a queen, 2 twins) and a huge bathroom with dressing area, closet, and space for luggage. Our deck had two rockers and a rustic table. The dining hall is large and looks out over a pond. We enjoyed the meals. Dinner was plated, the others were buffet. We went on the raft trip. In March it was class 2 and 3 rapids. Our raftsmen were very knowledgable about the birds and other wildlife. Before you leave home acquire a disposable waterproof camera or two (we got ours from Amazon). Save photos for the waterfall walk near the end, we wished we had. These grounds might be difficult to negotiate for a person with mobility issues.
