The place is great, nice and comfy, rooms are very nice if you want to be away from noise and electric artifacts, just your bed, the jungle around and a nice hammock. The staff is super friendly and ask for the Yoga classes. It is just 10 minutes walking distance from Puerto Viejo main road, where you can find the...

We went for the Christmas Holidays to Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge located on a hill above the village. We loved everything about it. We are a family of 4 with 2 older kids in their 20’s. We arrived in the pouring rain and Edwin graciously took us to our cottage under large umbrellas and showed us around and got us...

Cashew Hill is at the back of the town. It's about a 10 minute walk from your cottage through the grounds and then a few blocks to reach the beach and the main 'town'. That said, a lot of the nicer places/ cafes are in the back of town. Our cottage, Todo Bien, was an airy, but somewhat dark, three...

This place is amazing, aside from the ocean view, onsite yoga and pool and proximity to the town while still feeling like a part of nature the vibe might be the best I have ever experienced! Andrew the owner is super genuine, helpful and just wonderful to be around, the dogs are playful and any staff associated with this location...

We started our 2 week adventure at Cashew Hill. We had an amazing 2 bedroom cottage with a great view. We were lucky to be there for the first yoga class on the new platform. Amazing! The kitchen and fans in the room were a plus! If travelling in Puerto Viejo make sure to not leave belongings in your car...

My husband and I just spent five nights in the Sloth Cottage for our five year wedding anniversary. October is the dry season in Puerto Viejo, so a great time to visit. The owner and the manager were both very friendly and accommodating; we got great advice on places to visit that we might have overlooked.

Cashew Hill Lodge is a grouping of individual casitas/houses which contain 2 floors, a kitchen and accommodations for families or large groups. They are all self contained. The owner, Andrew is wonderful as is his assistant Edward. The Lodge is on a hill just past the soccer field in Puerto Viejo and signage is sparse. We did not realize that...

The cabins couldn't be more adorable - mostly two stories with a balcony, hammocks, living room, kitchen and lots of space. The location is great - just a 5 minute walk down to town (but more like 7 minutes back again - yes, it's up a very steep hill ;) so you're not in the middle of the hustle and...

This place was amazing! The owner is a great host and super helpful. We booked the 8 room accommodation and it was excellent had a kitchen, balcony area and 2 bathrooms. Has a pool, yoga area and is a short walk into town. Definitely would recommend!
