¡A la 1 la hora del café si usted quiere! If you stay at Casa Renada, you’ll know what it means. It’s been an amazing home away from home; and I'll miss it. Stayed during a month (January 21) doing remote work as nomad. More than a private cabin with beds and good internet, more than a very nice place to stay (to which no pictures do true justice); the value proposition Renata's family is offering is sharing a moment of life during your stay "Tico's laidback way... pushing stress away". They shared with me as in sharing for real.... If you are not up for it, also plenty fine but you'll miss on that personal touch. I take away their positive influence (Daniel, Renata and their daughter Laurita) who truly enjoyed sharing with me. En español dicen compartir es vivir; Casa Renada es vida! I would not think twice where to stay going back to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.

Searching for a place to relax and recharge? Casa Renada delivers. It was the perfect place for 3 of us to hang out, enjoy the beautiful garden, animals, pool and relaxing atmosphere. Close enough to walk to the beach and to town, or rent a bicycle to get around. Renata's fantastic breakfast is the perfect start for whatever your day will bring. Cabinas are clean and beautifully built and maintained. Dani is always ready to help with suggestions, directions and knows the area well.

We loved staying at Casa Renada! The cabins were amazingly created with beautiful wood and design, the grounds were lovely, and the host family was so gracious, friendly, and helpful. Our girls (ages 8 and 5) loved jumping on the trampoline, swimming in the pool, and playing with the host family's little dog. :) We ate breakfast at Casa Renada every morning (for a small extra fee), which was amazingly good. I have nothing but great things to say about this place! Thank you to Daniel and your family for making our stay in Puerto Viejo so welcome. We definitely will return some day soon!

The Casa Renada is a quiet, relaxing and beautiful place. The pool area is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The „casas“ are hosted by a lovely, open and nice family and the total ambiente here is great. The Casa Renada is very close to the Puerto Viejo Town (ca 10min by foot) We had a very lovely time here.

During our Costa Rica trip we (family of 5) stayed at Casa Renada on two occasions. We really felt like being at home! From the warm welcome upon arrival to the cabins to the friendly conversations and tips about what to do; everything was perfect (well, the hosts do not have too much influence on the weather…). The host family cares for its guests. Excellent breakfast in the morning, recommendations and tips for possible activities and if your’re up to it, Dani is not afraid to be challenged for a round of ping pong… The cabins are extremely nice and clean. Finished and furnished with a lot of passion and craftmanship. The pool is cleaned every morning and just what you need when you come back from a trip to the jungle or from a day at the beach. There is a small soccer field, a volleyball field a ping pong table, everything to get your blood pumping if you need your daily exercise. The garden is beautiful; you’ll find all kinds of animals within just a couple of steps after you climb out of the hammock in front of your cabin. It takes you five minutes to stroll to playa negra (black beach) and you’re down town Puerto Viejo within a five minute bike ride. You can’t go wrong by staying at Casa Renada!!!

These beautiful cabinas are nestled in a luscious garden, the owners are very generous and friendly, the breakfast is a feast and the cabinas are very tastefully decorated and equipped with all you need. We felt very comfortable and content even though the weather was quite rainy.

We loved every minute at Casa Renada - our cabin, sharing it with our extended family, the amazing breakfasts prepared by Renada, the beautiful handcrafted tilework and woodwork thanks to Daniel, and the special part of the world on the Caribbean. It was fun walking around the beautiful property, getting a personal nature walk from Daniel and expert suggestions about the neighboring beaches and the nocturnal hike. The beach at Cahuita National Park was beyond perfection. Hoping to return in the future - a great trip for all three generations
