We had an amazing time at Casa Moabi. It is a but out of the Puerto Viejo town, but in a really nice way. Imagine howler monkeys and birds filling up the silence around you. The scenery is just amazing. The room was very nice and clean and the people around are very very helpfull and kind! Breakfast is a...

Great place. It is close enough to Puerto Viejo yet just far enough to enjoy peace and quiet or rather sounds of the jungle. The host is very friendly and well informed - gives lots of useful information about the area and tours/excursions available. Lots of common space to relax and lie in a hammock. You can rent a bike...

Living in Costa Rica, I look forward to sharing my piece of paradise with my family from the US when they visit. There is no better way to do this than to return to the Bribri cabin at Casa Moabi. What an experience to sleep in the jungle with howler monkeys doing their thing. Sleeping in an authentic Indian cabin....

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time! Tom and his team is excellent. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and always have good tips to explore the beautiful surroundings (My favorite is the Cahuita Nationalpark). The breakfast was epic: toast, jam, fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancake, french toast, coffee and juice. A perfect way to start the day!...

We stayed four nights in the Casita, or the jungle castle as we called it. Lots of space, three floors, kitchen and bathroom in the first, hammocks in the second, bedroom with safe in the third floor. So lovely to lie in the hammocks listening to the rain on the palm leaf roof! Although we had a well equipped kitchen...

We stayed here for two nights on our way from Panama to Nicaragua. This place is located about a fifteen minute bike ride from the main town and the bike ride is really easy and beautiful with views of the jungle and beach. We saw a sloth and a group of monkeys while biking down the road. The hostel itself...

Situated 15-20 min (by bike) outside of Puerto Viejo this place offers exactly what the town doesn't: peace and quiet as well as jungle all around. Due to the offer of breakfast as well as a kitchen and the proximity of a small supermarket there is little need to go into town.

Everything about Casa Moabi was perfect - the location, the hosts, the rooms, the pets ... not to forget the epic breakfast! My husband and I stayed in the apartment as well as one of the private rooms, and both accommodation options were very comfy, spacious and clean and had hot water as well as a safe. We loved chatting...

My husband and I had a fantastic time at Casa Moabi. Fanny, our host was so hospitable and helpful. We loved waking up to howler monkeys (who should really be called "roaring monkeys". We rented the apartment (which can sleep three) and it was very spacious with a kitchen on the ground floor. I don't think I would want to...
