We spent 4 nights in the Casita on our honeymoon, and it was perfect. Fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke up to breakfast on the beach. Michel is a gracious and fascinating host, and his whole staff made our trip really enjoyable. We really liked the quiet atmosphere - most of the time we had the...

Spent 5 nights at this incredible bed and breakfast which exceeded expectations. Host and manager Michel was accommodating, gracious and attentive as was his staff. Breakfast on the beach, cool ocean breezes away from the crowds but close enough to a nearby resort to enjoy more perks. Did not want to leave. Am still hearing the incredible ocean sounds and...

We just came back from a 5 night stay at Casa Las Brisas and it was just lovely. Michel is a charming and attentive host. He could not do enough for us. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts on the beach, the table with an embroidered tablecloth, freshly squeezed juice, a different one each day and as many coffee refills as...

Casa las brisas was a perfect stay for us, Michel and his staff do everything they can to make your holiday great. The house lay just steps form the beach so at night you can relax at the porch and hear the waves enters. Tips for wine and dine, just a lunch or a day activity Michel knows it, so...

My husband and I, like others were unable to get a room at Banana Azul which came highly recommended to us. We had just come up from Bocas del Toro and were hoping to get something clean and quiet without spending too much. This place was the perfect balance (stayed on June 9th and 10th). Michel is a wonderfully pleasant...

The casita was the perfect start to our honeymoon, we stayed for 5 nights and loved every minute. We we're recommended Banna Azul next door but they were booked up for the dates we wanted and we were so pleased we stayed with Michel and Zena. Perfect hosts and so helpful to a pair of Brits a long way from...

We originally were booked for Banana Azul and they were booked so we were told to try here. It was better than we could have ever imagined! Michel is an amazing host, very helpful and caring. The room was nice, clean, and it was VERY private. Delicious breakfast on the beach (with his dog Zena by our side hanging out), caring...

We stayed at the Casita on our honeymoon and loved every second of it. Michel was extremely helpful in almost all aspects of our trip. He gave us a lot of recommendations for things to do in the area and made sure that everything was as expected and up to par. Casa Las Brisas is nice because it is more...

On a trip with my dad, we were moved from Banana Azul to Las Brisas and no regrets. Best host, best coffee served on the beach and ideal view in the morning. For those who expect a five star hotel in Puerto Viejo, turn around, for those who want calm, nice service and to be a few steps away from...

After traveling for a week in central and western Costa Rica, chillin on the Caribbean side was a welcome improvement to an already amazing trip. I can't imagine anywhere better than Casa de las Brisas, and the warm, genuine, and helpful company of Michel and Wilbur. My husband and I were on our honeymoon, and these guys really made us...
