Brigitte’s hospitality is outstanding. The cabins are very clean and cozy. I stayed in Boa’ë ‘s cabin which is for 4 people. It has jacuzzi, TV, hot water , hammocks, wifi, etc. I strongly recommend the chocolate tour. It is inside the same property so do not need to move out of the place. I just want to say THANK YOU for the amazing experience. For those who wonder, Limón downtown is around 40 mins driving (43 KM) and the sloth sanctuary is near so you can visit it.
From phone calls to Bridgitte, asking about Bus connections and so on prior to even starting to go,down to her picking up at the local bus depot on arrival, this was just part of her service. Her cabins are clean and offer all that is required. Her private tour of her other property, with chocolate manufacturing and all the native natural plants in abundance ,was really interesting Then she has a resident sloth, and other native creatures, frogs and lizzards,on her accommodation property, and her horses if you'd like a ride along the beach. You have a 3 min walk to the beach,a 15 minute walk to the town center. She has a great in expensive breakfast in her own restaurant. This is worth the effort.
Just had breakfast pancakes with fruit, coffee, hot chocolate. Comfortable, good service, yummy food. Staff showed us poison dart frogs living in the area after we ate. Friendly and good. We will stop by again before we leave.
We - a Swiss family with 3 children - enjoyed the nature and spirit of the ranch a lot. Evers morning Rocky the dog and the sweetest cat passed by. Basic, natural, great spirit and the best breakfast:-)
Wonderful breakfast! Strong, rich coffee. Eggs and toast to order. Banana pancakes with a generous serving of papaya, melon, and pineapple. Service was quick and friendly. There is a stable of horses, with information about tours varying from jungle rides to a beach jaunt to a chocolate tour.
