This place has a lot of things to recommend it, but on balance I wouldn't suggest staying here for more than a couple of nights as the rooms have some pretty big drawbacks. Our first room was towards the back of the property and had almost no natural light, plus almost no artificial light due to how dim the bulbs...

Really recommend this lovely place. In the back you see you all kinds of animals since it's just near the national park. We actually saw more animals here than in the park!! Many birds, moneys, leguanas, racoon etc. rooms are big, clean and very beautiful.

Right on the creek bordering the national park, Kelly's offers a wildlife paradise, breakfast with iguanas, monkeys, racoons, caimans, sloths, herons....and more. The rooms are generous with high ceilings, the owner Erica a gracious hostess, we loved it, meant to travel further but just stopped here. Thanks you Erica for an amazing stay.

We had read great reviews of this place so we decided to Give it a try. Not a great idea. I must first say that our Hostess, Erica, is a very nice lady. She is wonderful to talk to, but we wonder if she should run a business. We were first given a duplex room that she said she would,...

We booked our last minute stay on a busy Costa Rican holiday weekend - holiday weekends in in Costa Rica drive huge populations from the city to the beach, filling hotels to capacity. Eric (proprietor) was gracious and understanding of our last-minute need to get out of the city and decompress, if even for a short stay. Upon arrival after...

The morning after our first night at Kelly Creek, my husband and I woke up with literally dozens of itchy red bites on legs, arms, hands, and so forth. Erica, the proprietor, said she thought the flat red ones were sand fleas. We had not yet been out on the beach, so we wondered how we got sand flea bites....

On our first trip to Costa Rica, we chose Cahuita because we wanted a relaxed place. We spent 22 nights at Kelly Creek Hotel and it was the most gorgeous time of our lives. Erika is a caring, beautiful woman who has made a lovely space. The animals surround Kelly Creek also wanting to be part of this sublime spot....

We stayed at Kelly Creek at the end of a 2 week holiday in Costa Rica. Is was a lovely place in an absolutely perfect location right by Cahuita national park. So many gorgeous animals literally just outside out window. And Erica was a lovely host - as were her rabbit and two lovely cats. Warmly recommended.

I enjoyed so much staying at Kelly Creek. The place is incredible close to the National Park so when you have breakfast many animals, iguanas, monkeys, birds, etc, gather over there in the morning. The rooms are huge and clean. Besides, the owner Erica, its a lovely person and very sweet.

My friend and I Spent 2 nights at Kelly Creek. The room was nice and clean. The hotel is located right beside Cahuita National Park, which let you get close to nature and the wildlife. And it's right beside the beach. I highly recommend staying here.
