A good place for an active overnight stay. We stayed in a bungalow and took both a day and a night tour. The bungalow and the overall property was like a scouting camp plus. Don't expect more. The bungalows had AC which did nothing. Food in the restaurant was just okay (buffet mainly for tours). Breakfast was another just okay...

Simple accommodation, but spacious and adequate with netted windows so it was possible to maintain good air circulation at all times without insect problems. Comfortable beds, spacious balcony running round the block of four rooms. adequate bathroom, no problems with it. Italian restaurant onsite, very good. Costa Rican restaurant above, worth going to, reasonable choice, depends on your taste. Excellent...

Last december 2016 we stay there, room its a litle dark, banners and info signs are old and damage. The manager doesn't face our complain about someone in the restaurant said kids don't allowed to speak loudly,.... Amazing birds and mammals. Right behind our building was a non stop parade of howler monkeys, toucans, iguanas, hummingbirds, guans, etc. I have never seen as many toucans as I saw here. Loved the night tour with Ronald--highly recommend for his vast knowledge and finding all varieties of tiny, colorful frogs and even a sleeping black throated trogon in the...

Most friendly staff. Thank you Jessica. Stayed close to the river. Wow. Relaxing in the hammock, listening to the river. Nature guides are well trained. Good lectures. Incredible horseriding. Private chocolate tour- outstanding. This was a good Costa Rica experience.

Comfortable spacious rooms accessed from walkways on stilts. Lovely views of Sarapiqui river and the forest from the walkways. Good common facilities including free Wifi and water containers to refill your bottles before going out on excursions. Nice buffet breakfast; other meals a bit expensive for what they were (though pizzas in the Italian restaurant on the ground floor were...

Another great lodge located in the jungle of Costa Rica. The pods of 4 rooms puts you right in the jungle, all of types of birds and monkeys to see and listen to. We were entertained daily by the howler monkeys as they ate and played in the trees, quite a sight and sound. The lodge is well staffed and...

My wife and I spent three nights here and really enjoyed our experience. Having read many Trip Advisor reviews beforehand, we came expecting the facilities and services to be fine, but not great. Our evaluation is that it is the latter, as long as you come with expectation that this is an older place, somewhat rustic, but perfectly comfortable. The...

Accommodation is in lodge type rooms, accessed by walkways. A torch is recommended. The rooms are clean, bright and basic. Make sure you have insect repellent, sun screen, light weight rain jacket. There are water dispenser around the hotel to fill up your water bottles. Breakfast and dinner were hearty and adequate. Plenty of wildlife to be seen on the...

We stayed here for one night only,The room, facilities and setting were superb, our only disappointment was the dining room, which lacked atmosphere and was functional and not very welcoming. The evening meal and breakfast were both buffet and the food served was uninteresting and in our opinion did not live up to the standard that one expected from this hotel. The staff were friendly...
