Just returned from my second trip to Witch’s Rock Surf Camp (“WRSC”). I did a week long guys trip last January of ‘14 and had such a great time I brought the whole family down this Thanksgiving (Nov’14). If you want to learn how to surf in excellent conditions, (i.e. nice waves, warm clear blue water, sand beaches not rock...

I just got back from a week at Witch's Rock after making an impulse decision to book a trip a few weeks back after reading the incredible reviews, and it lived up to the stellar reputation. I had never surfed before and was a little nervous about heading out there alone, but I came back home with the ability to...

It had been over 20 years since I last surfed in the Santa Cruz, California area so I was a little hesitant about signing up for the Advanced surfing trip. As it turns out, I'm glad I signed up for it. This was the first of 4 days surfing with the same group of vacationing surfers. The key to our...

Capt Andy here. Spent a week at WRSC in Nov. originally planned to spend three days and do some exploring on my own. Ended up on the wrong road to Nosara in a non-4wheel drive rental (bad move after the third River crossing) turned around and went back to WRSC. Jumped in Van the next morning and ended up surfing...

My goal was to get my 9 and 11 year old sons into some warm water with gentle surf and give them something they could enjoy doing with mom. Our one attempt at surfing where we live in Southern California did not go well. The boys hated the cold water and getting pounded by the surf. They were NOT excited...

I stayed a week and my sole intention was getting back on a board after many years. Witch's Rock camp fit the bill. Accommodations were basic but clean. Having the restaurant/bar right downstairs made it super convenient. The people were great and the surfing conditions awesome! We had same instructor all week and Jay Louis was great; extremely knowledgeable and...

We Stayed and surfed for two weeks! It was a trip of a life time although before we left we reserved our place for the same time next year! Josimor was our surf coach and we had a great time trying his patience! We absolutely were amazed how everybody bent over backwards accommodating our every need especially Fernando at Joe's....

This place was recommended by our tour guide and I'm happy we went! The nachos were delicious. We ordered a full order and barely finished it (there were two of us). It was a laid back atmosphere and was right on the beach. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because it too us forever to get...

In town with my parents and we have taken them here for both a breakfast and a dinner. No complaints here. The food was good, drinks were cold, and service was good. We will be back here many times in the next few months. Always a good atmosphere and relaxing. Trying the imperial draft and the nachos!

Our stay here was incredible. The staff are second to none and honestly make you feel like you are extremely valued. The surf was fantastic and the instructors were fantastic. We had Pako who was awesome and always knew the best places to take us. The breakfast was awesome and cocktails in the evening were great as well. Although we...
