From the moment my friend and I arrived at Casa Cook, we knew we chose the right place for us. We wanted a low key spot where we could relax but was not too far from town. The beachfront Cabina was bigger than I expected and had everything we needed for our stay. I cannot even describe how wonderful and... More

I just got back from an amazing week with two friends at Casa Cook. We stayed in one of the beachfront cabinas, and got so much more than we thought. The management (Hi, Sonia!) was wonderful and added an extra bed to the cabina so we could each have our bed to sleep in. When we got there we had... More

We just returned to Iowa from our WONDERFUL stay at Casa Cook in Tamarindo. We rented the entire villa as a group of 11 (7 adults and 4 kids ages 5-10) and it was absolutely perfect! The kids LOVED playing in the waves on the beach and having the pool to come back to made it even better. There are... More

This is a nice small boutique hotel that is right on the best part of the Tamarindo beach. There is a decent amount of shade trees between the hotel and the beach and sea. It is a 10 minute walk to town either on the beach or the road. It also has a nice pool for cooling off in. All... More

We rented the two beach front cabanas for our 3 day stay and it was absolutely wonderful. Sonia and the staff at Casa Cook made this trip actually one of the best experiences I've had around the world. They were very friendly and extremely accommodating and Sonia is an excellent communicator with rapid responses. We were the only people at... More

Our group of seven adults and seven children just returned from a 10-day stay at Casa Cook. We had the entire property to ourselves and it worked out perfectly for us. The accommodations aren't plush or modern, but the location right on the beach and the convenience of having kitchens, fresh water showers and a pool just steps from the... More

Couple years ago I learned about Casa Cook from a friend who had visited. I went with my daughter and LOVED the place. Was concerned when I heard they had sold yet I chose to return with my entire family. LOVED it even more. The staff is amazing, the location is perfect close to restaurants/bars etc. YET feels like you... More

Located right on the beach. Staff was absolutely amazing and very attentive, and we felt extremely safe while we were there. Our room key was equipped with a little flashlight, and there was a flashlight in our room that we used daily when walking around at night. There was always someone outside walking around the property, the gates were all... More

We are flying home after a wonderful 9 day stay at Casa Cook. We have 2 girls (10 and 13) and rented one of the beach-front casitas after reading the many glowing reviews featured on Trip Advisor. The casita was perfect for our needs: it provided us with more room than a hotel, gave us the opportunity to cook when... More
