This hotel is definitely the best in Tamarindo. The privet trail to the beach and private and secure space just near the beach make it very good place for couples. Included breakfast was good. The dinner was very delicious. The room was awesome. The shower and bathroom were very spacious.

I have to say that a few things disappointed me about this hotel: - there was indeed a sewer smell coming from the bathroom at times, they need to look into this - very small pool area, they could expand that into the adjacent grassy area and heat that pool! It was freezing! - we were in room 31 and...

This hotel was a huge disappointment overall. It started when we checked in. We tried to reserve the best room but had to settle on the Romantic Star room. When we were taken to our room it did not look at all like any of the photos on the website. It was a room worth no more than 50.00. It...

Dear LalaChavez, We are naturally disappointed to read your review; your comments do not reflect the true level of service and top quality of our hotel. Eunice, our Resident Manager, was only being honest and sincere when explaining to you in a very nice manner that there were no rooms available the night before. However, it is our understanding that...

This is a quiet place in a surfing party town. Excellent service and the included breakfast is very inclusive with cook to order egg/waffle chief. Only a 3-5 minute walk to their beach. Our room number 6 had a great view to the ocean but be warned 35 steps one way up & down from the lobby. Pool and garden...

What a wonderful property. From the location to the staff it surpassed all of our desires for a secluded and quiet resort. Location was great with a private beach and beverage service at the beach. Food service at the property was stellar. Breakfast buffet was delicious and a great way to start our days. The staff was attentive to our...

From the exquisite gardens, to the tranquil pools and large covered daybeds, fantastic and friendly service, delicious and healthy food options, great spa treatments, heavenly views, and our well appointed very clean room with private hot tub and blue tooth sound system, this was an amazing choice for a couple that has travelled a lot. One of our favs for...

After a couple of weeks driving across Costa Rica, it was the perfect place to spend our final 4 days in such a beautiful country and is located in a great coastal town. Never knowing what to really expect and basing...

I knew I wanted to stay here from the reviews, but wasn't sure if I would like the Tamarindo area because I typically like a more relaxed area. I got exactly what I wanted@. Beautiful hotel with lush gardens and beautiful views. The rooms offered everything we needed to be comfortable and the patios were private surrounded by tropical folliage....

This has been our favorite Costa Rican hotel for years. The new owners have spiffed up the place since we were last here with newly painted rooms refreshed grounds and added beach access. It's still a wonderful place but the old friendly staff have been replaced by professionalism. The rooms now have more of a sterile rather than a bit...
