The hotel is a quiet small place with a fantastic tropical garden. Very good location and typical costarrican breakfast, but the high poin is definitely the staff, Chuchú was all over the place taking care of us, and the bar staff was great as well. Hope to visit next year again.

Do not stay hear. The staff is not clear with instructions and they put you in a room where the bathroom is full of mosquitos and cockaroches. Please don't stay here. Por favor no te quedas aquí. El hotel te dan un quarto lleno de mosquitos y cucarachas. Photos attached. They expect to charge you over $100 a night and think flying ants and roaches are ok.

We stayed here during COVID-19. The grounds are beautiful. The pool was small and refreshing. Breakfast was delicious. They adhered to wearing masks which wasn’t always the case in Tamarindo. It was in a great location and we had easy parking (because of low numbers?). It’s a 3 star rated hotel so we thought it was clean and I think the shower was fixed after the first day because my second shower was hot and fabulous! I liked that there was a place to wash my feet near the entrance. The water had a slight sulphuric smell, which is typical near beach towns, but it was only slight. We would have liked a bit more of an introduction to the grounds and activities (they were all still pre-COVID-19 and not updated). The restaurant was closed so we don’t know if it’s usually louder, but we loved the quietness. The toilet paper was square by square, but a only a small annoyance. I do suggest more hooks in the room for drying out clothes after rain, ATV rides, and swimming. We’d stay here again if we came back to visit.

Loved this boutique hotel, it is a fairly small complex with individual type rooms around the pool, clean, with AC, not spacious though, but everything you need for a few nights, centrally located with in walking distance to beach, shops, and restaurants. Their pool looks not so clean but it was great, their bar and restaurant is fantastic, the live music superb! We thoroughly enjoyed this place and would recommend it! The breakfast's were tasty and large portions, great juice, tea and coffee. On a last note their Margarita's are fabulous, and reasonalbly priced! Added bonus the property is non smoking!

This is a small hotel. The room was OK but not terribly clean. The pool looked as though it had never been cleaned. The bar/restaurant staff were very friendly and the drinks reasonably priced. Breakfast was good. Overall it felt rather disappointing.
