The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is super friendly be we had excellent dinners and evenings at the hotel. The hotel garden ist beautiful and feels very tranquil. We had twice baby monkeys in the tree above us at the pool and during the free yoga sessions in the morning. Our boys would have preferred a hotel...

I am very picky about hotels and this place is great!! Welcome drink with Breakfast every morning (included with our room) and a sunset cocktail on the beach every night!! Great bikes to ride downtown instead of driving and far away from the main town not to hear the night light. Wonderful and courteous staff and the rooms were great....

Overall a beautiful hotel with a great pool but for this price the restaurant needs to be significantly better. It's not difficult especially to cook simple quality italian food. Or good Costa Rican food. Also, on Friday nights they have a loud live band that could be heard in our room (especially the drums) until 11 pm. Hopefully they will...

First of all I would like to start by saying that, the property and staff deserve 5 stars, excellent review. The only reason why I felt need to deduct one star was due to a slight accounting error on the administration part that was resolved, however they took way to long to credit the overcharge . This was our first...

First time in Costa Rica and a few bullet points from our trip: Property was clean, quiet, picturesque with lots of birds and monkeys as you walk the grounds Helpful and friendly staff Food was ok, but a great complimentary breakfast Close enough to be able to walk into the town of Tamarindo Highlight of the trip was our excursion...

Beautiful, modern hotel. Clean, gorgeous rooms. Staff at Cala Luna could not be more accommodating, kind, or helpful. Beach is rocky, so it's not great for swimming, but fun to explore and strikingly beautiful! We stayed two nights and the staff helped to coordinate all of our activities.

There is so much good to say about this resort. We arrived on a very rainy night in mid-November 2016. We were cordially and warmly greeted by the front desk staff and given a nice cool drink and a cooling & cleansing towel. Both were very welcome after a long ride. The staff thoroughly explained the features of the hotel,...

We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa and it was outstanding. The only things to point out: 1. The entire property has terrible wi-fi 2. The shower is like being pelted by shards of glass 3. It's no joke that the beach is unswimmable. It's beautiful but total black sharp rocks If you understand this going in, you'll love your stay...

Cala luna is a dream of beauty and balance. The very comfortable and luxury villas have their own swimmingpool. The cleaning of the villa is included. There is also possibility to stay in hotelrooms. Access to sea.

We came to Cala Luna after a bad night in a B&B close by. We saw quest from Cala Luna watching the sunset on the beach with a cocktail. We knew we needed to leave the very rustic and expensive B&B and head over to Cala Luna. The service as expected is great. We enjoyed the large pool and every...
