Every year my daughter and me are trying to take vacation and escape to Costa Rica. We just came back from Lost Iguana and love it. Driving from San Jose was great experience. The resort is located on the hills with amazing views of Volcano from every room. You are surrounded with rainforest, rivers and waterfalls. Great hiking around resort,...

My husband and I just got back from a 4 night/5 day trip celebrating our 7th anniversary and we can't say enough about how beautiful the property is and how helpful and friendly the staff are. The property is spread out over 120 acres-literally in the middle of the Rainforest. Each building has only 4 rooms so it felt very...

The Lost Iguana is a class act! We stayed here for 3 days June 2012. We had a family suite on the second floor with a view of Arenal volcano that can only be described as Jurassic! We had a rock rainforest shower in the master bath a humongous King size bed as well as a double and a set...

Lost Iguana is nestled about 4 miles from the Volcan Areanal and our suite 43 - had the best views. We are a family of 5 and all were very comfortable. It is the rain Forrest so we dealt with some BIG bugs. The activities are amazing - La Roca Canyoneering was the best and only 10 minutes from hotel....

When booking, we did not appreciate how far we were from town until we finally arrived at Lost Iguana. It is critical to take advantage of the shuttles that the hotel employs to get folks to and from town. The reception and staff were very hospitable and we were greeted by the manager, who had relatives in Texas. She gave...

This was the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Lost Iguana Resort, but this time the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We first stayed at the Lost Iguana in May of 2010 and loved it so much that we convinced 6 of our friends and family to come back with us...

We loved this place. Our only regret was that we only booked for 3 nights, and then went to another resort on the beach. If we had known how awesome it was in the Arenal Volcano area, we would have stayed longer. I was worried about insects and things, but there was none of that. It was awesome!

This hotel is a must when visiting the Arenal area. it is in the rainforest right by the Hanging Bridges...you can walk to them. The views are amazing from every room; you cannot get a non-view room and the views are of the volcano and the landscape before it. There's a great restaurant on -site-excellent food! There's a spa. Obviously...

WOW! Five night stay in the Lost Iguana was unbelievable. The landscaping was something from Jurassic Park. The rooms were pristine and every room has a view of the volcano. Open air showers, private jacuzzi, and the decor was beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Walking the property is an experience...I can't say enough about the property, beautifully...

We wanted to get away from the hustle bustle, and we did that and much more at the Lost Iguana. The property is absolutely beautiful. The buildings are spread out for privacy and each one connects to the amenities by way of little paths surrounded by tropical plants and flowers. Some are steep, but if you don’t feel like walking,...
