We did not stay overnight at The Springs Resort, but spent my 50th birthday at The Springs, spa and restaurant since I previously stayed at their sister resort, The Peace Lodge and stayed at the Peace Lodge again this trip. I wanted to spend my 50th at a special location in La Fortuna and had high expectations due to my...

Location is amazing, off the main road, tucked away in the forest with perfect views of Arenal. Seriously - it is down a dirt road so be prepared to bump around for a mile or two to get there. No stragglers walking around at this one due to its perfect location. The Arenal volcano views were awesome. The hot springs...

This was the second part of our week trip - first half at the Andaz in Guanacaste. Two families with 2 eleven year old boys. The hotel is build on a mountain - so everything flows from top to bottom. The rooms are on the slope and our first couple nights we had a ground floor room. Each room is...

Location is amazing, off the main road, tucked away in the forest with perfect views of Arenal. The resort itself is beautiful, the rooms are large and luxurious and beds are super comfortable. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We only had a short stay due to other commitments but, we would definitely return here and recommend it to...

Wow!! Where to start?!? Probably one of the best all around resorts we have been to! We will be back!! Let's start with the property - cut into a hill-side about 3.5 kilometers off the main road to La Fortuna. Fabulous views of Arneal. A series of interconnected pools and hot springs down the hill with fabulous landscaping. Very open...

We came to The Springs to use the eco termales, and wish we had stayed here instead of the Observatory Lodge. This place is gorgeous! Yes, it's a little out of the way and up a dirt road, but the setting is lovely -- and we only saw it at night. The Springs themselves are wonderful -- very private, not...

We recently spent two nights as a family at the Springs. This was the third stop on our trip. The Springs is an over-the-top kind of place, in my view. In order of what struck us, the views of Arenal are over-the-top, the service is more or less consistently over-the-top, the Club Rio activities are great and family friendly, and...

We stayed at the Springs resort for the first 3 nights of our 10 night honeymoon and couldn't have had a better time! Our only regret it we didn't stay there the whole time! The staff is incredible and so are the dinners. The views of the volcano are second to none, and with only 47 rooms you feel as...

We loved our trip to Costa Rica and the springs resort. My husband and I took out 13 year old teenager for 6 nights. The staff at the Springs was always accommodating and friendly. Pura Vida! Tours at the springs resort - tubing is a blast - wear closed toe shoes - prepare to get soaked. This is a lot...

This is a pretty remarkable property. We arrived on a day when you couldn't see fifty feet in front of the hotel, given the rain and fog, but each day improved until we could just see the top of the volcano on our departure (see picture). We ended our trip here and, after many excursions in other locations, were happy...
