The staff was so friendly and helpful! The food in the restaurant was good. We liked having the free breakfast buffet each morning. The room was nice too. We had a little problem with our key not working, but the problem was quickly resolved.

I always make sure to study study study on tripadvisor before any trip. Very helpful as we travel frequently. This place was a great combination of charm, modern amenities, location, and value. Terrific views, the upgraded room with a hot tub was amazing, and the food was wonderful. I mentioned a discount that I had seen online and the front...

We were impressed with the room and the pool area. Hummingbirds enjoyed the garden as well. We did have a couple of issues: 1- there was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee or cups?? We went to the desk and they gave us 2 pouches. I didn't notice the missing cups until morning, so I went to...

Lovely hotel with clean rooms and great, friendly service. We went during the quiet season and practically had the pool to ourselves. The hotel has great views of the volcano, from whatever floor you're on and we were on the ground floor. Breakfast wasn't the best but was adequate. Lunches were good but we went into town for dinner where...

Very nice service! All rooms have the view to the volcano, food was alright, staff was very helpful since the beginning to the end. The rates were pretty cheap for the things that they are offering and compared to other arenal hotels. I definitely recommend it!

Hotel is clean with a great view of the volcano and close to town. Walking distance to a large grocery store. Really nice pool and grounds. The beds are typical Costa Rican platform beds, hard, hard, hard. Price is excellent. Definitely not luxury but not a hostel or motel grade either. No entertainment or activities scheduled but on the route...

Excellent value!!! Probably one of the best locations if you're looking for a hotel rather than a hostel. Generally a $3-4 taxi ride into town. Friendly and helpful staff. Most importantly the rooms were clean!!! Breakfast was included as well, though its nothing to write home about. Request a 3rd floor room if you want a good view of the...

I stayed for a night on the ground floor, and was able to see the volcano Arenal with a clear view in the late morning after the clouds had parted. The price is good, the room is not bad, and the location is conveniently about 5-10 minutes drive to La Fortuna (I wouldn't advise walking to town on the narrow...

Stayed here two nights on Caravan tour. The volcano is only visible 30% of the time--so, be prepared for a nice view of: fog or clouds. Rooms nice, clean, spacious. They do not tell you when you check in that the second controller in your room is for the a/c---we didn't know that until we were ready to check out....

We stayed with our family of 6 (2 rooms) for 4 nights. It was walking distance to the town of La Fortuna. It was very clean, decent size rooms, decent breakfast included, nice pool and hot tubs and swim up bar. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and efficient. This is not a "luxury" hotel but great for those on a...
