This property is beautiful with views of the volcano and is a quiet oasis yet close enough to all that La Fortuna has to offer. The cabins are comfortable and just rustic enough to add to the experience of being in this beautiful area. We enjoyed the springs and pool area as well. The staff go above and beyond and would highly recommend this lovely property to those wanting lodging that is not a typical hotel.
Really nice hotel. In a very beautiful area around the Arenal Volcano. Nice cabins with ample room for four persons Or five in our case. Room is a little dark and lightning is "romantic" so looking for something after dark needs the assistance of cell phone light. Good air conditioning and warm water. On ground Hot springs on grounds with three levels of "hot" Very hot-intermediate and slightly warm. Really relaxing if you can stand the heat. Just be careful walking in the hot springs because there are seating areas below the water that are not visible to the eye since the water is yellow and not transparent. Hot springs are very warm and you should take care with young children. Breakfast in the hotel "typical" for the country and delicious. Late afternoon snacks are tastier outside the hotel. Massages in the hotel are really recommended, they are great.…
Peaceful and beautiful grounds, birds and wild life all around. Many varieties of birds you can hear you can hear throughout the day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. And we had perfect view of the volcano from our porch. Very convenient to downtown and all adventure locations (Zip lining, sloths, ATV tours, waterfalls, hanging bridges, Nation parks), didnt have to travel more than 25 minutes for anything.
We had an excellent stay here. The vibe is very relaxed and authentic. The staff is very friendly. The rooms had an incredible view of the volcano and we woke up every morning to birds and howler monkeys. The rooms are not a 5 star hotel, but more like a cabin. We rarely spent time inside them because it was so gorgeous outside. It is a about a 5 minute drive from town, but that makes it peaceful. We enjoyed wandering around the grounds and going in the thermal and cold pools. The food was great and priced well for the touristy area. We saw 2 adult sloths and a baby while we were sitting in the pools!!!
This is a wonderful place to stay with amazing staff. Peggy looked after us so well. The restaurant has many birds visiting with sloths in the trees. And we loved to natural springs pool. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so much fun. Ruth and John.
