Our tour group spent a couple of nights here while exploring the area around Arenal. It is a basic motel-like lodging with a couple of two-story buildings around a central swimming pool. Our ground floor room for our family of three was small, with only a double and single bed. It was a bit worn-down, without a lot of amenities. Breakfast was served next door at a separate restaurant, but it was a full-service restaurant, not a buffet, which meant getting there in time to order your meal along with 10 other groups from your tour was a bit tricky, especially when the orders are messed up. While the food was good, we spent 30 minutes both days ordering, waiting, and eating our food, and barely made our departure bus both times. Seems like for tours, a basic buffet would have been more efficient. The grounds of the hotel are nice, with some trails leading down to the river that were good for spotting frogs (we found a bluejeans frog!), and up a tree we spotted a sloth one night. A very nice little hotel. Rooms were calm and quiet, clean and spacey, with coffee machine and fridge, good shower. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good location, all of La Fortuna within walking distance. There’s a small pool and a Ranario. Night watchman Luis was wonderful and dedicated to showing us the frogs and the sloth! Gracias Luis por dedicarte a mostrarnos las ranas y la perezosa y por hablar de ellos con tanto cariño 🙏! Breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant, breakfast was good with several options, unfortunately quite noisy because of traffic passing by.

Nice clean quiet hotel pretty close to everything in town. Has a creek/frog park in the back which is nice at night. Nice but small pool, friendly helpful staff. Breakfast in a nearby restaurant is fine but not amazing.

Nice cosy room . Comfortable very clean . Good bathroom and shower . Balcony good view of volcano. Breakfast lovely and good choice to order . Hotel in good location in charming town . Staff helpful problem with tv remote and air con immediately rectified.
