This should definitely be on your list if you're in the arenal area. We stayed in 2 different treehouses; the toucan and the frog. Both were very clean and cozy. The toucan actually sways a little bit with the wind which really makes it a...More

We spent 3 nights of our 9 day trip to Costa Rica in the Sloth treehouse. First off, the property is gated and only guests are allowed in. They also have a night watchman who walks the property all night, so there's no question of...More

I has no safety concerns. The tree house grounds are private, with a locked gate at the road. I would have been comfortable there on my own. My son and I had such a great time there!

We get customers all the time with out rental cars. Bus to La Fortuna is $3 and very easy, taxi about $45. We have a taxi driver for restaurants in the area and the cost is between $10 - $15 round trip.
