We stayed here for two nights while we toured the area. While the room was very clean and the staff very helpful room 102 bathroom had a distinct smell of sewer gas later in the evening. After they clean it is fine, then as the day wears on the smell continue. It was not because of the toilet paper can...

Bungalow idea is always cute. But they lack a path to fully walk around the area. The rooms should have a shear curtain as you either have to have it open or closed - open means anyone walking by can see you. Location is good.

My husband and I just left Arenal Volcano Inn. It's a nice, clean, moderate hotel with private apartment style rooms and a large bathroom. It's also close to downtown Fortuna ($8 cab ride). The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. They helped us book tours (without ripping us off like some hotels). Overall a nice place to stay.

Do not miss opportunity to stay at the Arenal, near base of the active volcano and beautiful fish filed lake. Each bedroom faces the volcano as it lights up and spews forth during th night. Staff is so hospitable. Cuisine is simole yet delicious. Very very relaxing.

This was our first visit to Costa Rica. We had originally booked two nights at Arenal Volcano Inn and decided to add another night en route. The hotel was very accommodating despite being almost completely booked. Every interaction with hotel staff was a pleasure. Many thanks to staff: Andres & Nadia at the bar and Edgar and Leo in the...

This is an excellent place to stay! Great service and very friendly and helpful staff who had a very strong customer focus and truly seemed to care about how their customers felt. Nice pool and jacuzzi, with lovely gardens and pools also. The attached restaurant provides great breakfasts and good value dinners as well. If you're even vaguely interested in...

We booked the Volcano Inn through AirBnb after deciding between a number of different hotels in the area based on other reviews that stated that the food in their restaurant was more affordable (and still delicious). Prior to our stay, Hernan was very responsive when we e-mailed him to confirm our reservation, check-in time, and any other questions we had...

This place is fabulous! Rooms are delightful, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are quite large. Nice restaurant on premises. Not within walking distance so you need a car or to take a taxi for shopping, attractions or other restaurants. The best view of Arenal Volcano. Grounds are beautifuly landscaped.

It was our 50th wedding anniversary and they bumped us up to a Jr King Suite. #109 is at the back of the property and up the hill. It overlooks the complex and has a wonderful view of the volcano. The office is open air as is the dining area, The suite was spacious. We had a mini fridge, mw,...

Good standard hotel with clean, spacious rooms, with fridge, air con and cable TV. The gardens are very well manicured, but there are lots of birds, including hummingbirds. The WiFi didn't work in the superior, volcano facing rooms, but was given a Wi Fi booster which sorted out the problem. The restaurant isn't cheap, but the food is very good....

Dear TripAdvisor user, Thank you for sharing your opinion with us! We are thrilled to hear you were pleased with the hotel and the food choices at Que Rico Arenal Restaurant. One of the advantages of staying in an area like the one where we are located is that flora and fauna are always there to be admired. In fact,...
