My children and I we stay at this location for 4 nights! First thing first, this hotel is amazing, The staff are amazing, super friendly and professionals. Everyone take ALL COVID precautions, they have hand wash stations throughout the facilities and everyone wears their mask at all time! The room are amazing with perfect view to the volcano! The rooms are traditional with everything you need! They clean our room everyday! The hotel landscape is beautiful, I felt like I was in the jungle. The hotel food is AMAZING! We ate breakfast everyday and dinner two times in the hotel because we found the food to be much better than the food out in the town. Our server Jose (breakfast) and Isaias (dinner) are amazing people!!! I stay in many places and I recommend to all my family and friends this location! The price was just right! Pura Vida!

We spent 2 nights here and everything was great. The room was nice, clean and with fast WiFi. The only distraction was that sound traveled from the room next door very easily. The view of the volcano was perfect and we were blessed that most of the time the clouds were absent which is often not the case. The food in the restaurant was very good and all Covid-19 protocols were being followed to the letter.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights (as part of a Cox and Kings tour to Costa Rica) in a standard room, which was in a semi-detached single story building. We occupied a twin bedded room (Room 132) which was very comfortable, with a fantastic view of Arenal Volcano. The room had a free security safe, flat screen TV with 80+ channels (the only English speaking channel was CNN), coffee only making facilities, fridge (empty), an easy to use and effective air-conditioning system, cupboard for hanging clothes (with 6 hangers), drawers for clothes, phone in the room, two pillows per bed (+ two cushions) and two blankets. There was no mini-bar, and no WiFi in the room (only available in the restaurant, reception and the bar). There is a balcony with two chairs and a great, uninterrupted view of Arenal Volcano. We could only count four possible charging points for mobile phones, iPads, cameras, etc. There is a parking space outside the room if you arrive by car. The bathroom had a walk-in shower, toilet, large hand-basin, hairdryer and bottles of shampoo and conditioner. The hotel facilities are about 300 yards from the room, along a tarmac road that is lighted at night. There is a spa with gym, sauna, jacuzzi and massage. There is a pool and also a wet bar (seats are in the water), and large restaurant with national and international cuisine (that has an excellent breakfast selection including freshly made omelettes), as well as a snack bar by the pool. One of the most enticing attractions is the gorgeous river of thermal mineral waters, which thanks to a careful design, allow you privacy and rest. The pools vary in temperatures from one to the next, in order to satisfy the individual tastes of each guest. The 7 river pools have waterfalls, and these beautiful falls, and the relaxing hydro-massage they provide, together with spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano are the perfect finishing touch to make your vacation truly magical. There is a souvenir shop next to Reception. The hotel offers different activities for all ages like a canopy tour (zip wires on a series of cables that reach up to 400 metres in length) and horseback riding. We had a very comfortable two nights at this hotel, enjoying the location and facilities and have no hesitation in recommending it as a place to stay in the Arenal area.

We- family of four- stayed here for two nights. The room was tiny (we got the cheapest room), but nice; I loved the front porch where we could sit and relax/watch the birds/look at the volcano. The bathroom could use some updating; it was old, a bit musty-smelling, and dirty around the corners. There is no Wifi in the room, but that didn't bother me one bit- that's not why I go on vacation. Our room was at the bottom of the property, so you could hear the street all night, which didn't bother us as we hear that at our own house; but if that's a problem, you might want to request a room higher up the hill. I LOVED the hot spring pools!!! They were SO refreshing after a busy day of touring, and surprisingly not too busy (besides the top one or two, which are the hottest, but the lower ones are quite warm enough). The vegetarian pizza at the pool snack area was delicious, and very reasonably priced ($10 for one; my family of four ate 3). I really loved the nature at the resort- birds all over the place (we saw SO MANY different kinds!), and every morning we could hear howler monkeys- was so cool! Breakfast was yummy (including an eggs-to-order station), I just wish it would start at 6 instead of 6:30 (since our tours started early; but 6:30 seems to be the standard all over CR). If the rooms had been cleaner/more updated (especially bathroom), I would've given the place 5 stars. But overall we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well located in terms of the main local attraction - the volcano. The houses and furniture are plank, but it does not bother - we arrived for the sake of nature and outdoor activities ... including hot springs ... well, a very active holiday.
