Can’t imagine a better experience. Laura made sure our stay was exceptional! The grounds were gorgeous, we saw an abundance of animals and wildlife (toucans, sloths, howler monkeys) on site, the staff were all lovely, and the rooms were great! The price was also awesome.

We nearly had this place to ourselves. Laura greeted us so warmly, it felt like she was welcoming us into her home. We loved the privacy and quiet of the property's location - away from busy town yet close enough to make the trip to town very convenient. Our room and small patio were sufficient, but the best part was the magical grounds. Every day we discovered something new: tiny frogs by the creek, the leaf-cutter ants, exotic birds in the back trees, and the farm lanes beyond the property boundaries. We loved watching the nesting birds. Elvia kept us well fed at breakfast - fresh fruit and hot eggs each day, a real feast. We felt very comfortable, but even more so - very fortunate - to have the Eco Arenal (& Laura & Co.) be our very first experience of Costa Rica.

Beautiful property, just minutes out of town. Quite, clean rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast. Our room was facing the creek, just a beautiful location to sit on the deck, have your coffee in the morning and watch the birds or have a glass of wine in the evening and just listen to the creek. Breakfast starts at 7:30 am, but Laura was very accomodating and served us breakfast at 7 am. We are early risers and on Easter time zone and wanted to be at 8 am at Arenal Volcano National Park (first day) and Mistico Hanging Bridges (second day). We were able to do that thanks to Laura's excellent customers service. We really appreciated that.

Comfortable rooms, small but functional. Comes with a fridge. Grounds are breath taking with flowers, lots of birds, river and surrounded by jungle. Sit on the deck in the evening and watch the howler monkeys and toucans. Close to La Fortuna. Laura (manager) is so helpful with recommendations of things to do, restaurants, etc and will help with arrangements.

We and another family stayed at Eco Arenal for 3 days. It is the perfect place to settle in and feel comfortable and relax. There are no frills or anything over the top here, but all of the basics are covered and the staff and service is beyond expected. In the end, this was may favorite place to stay in Costa Rica. We felt relaxed, calm, at really, just "at home." LAURA is an amazing host! She made our families feel so welcome and went above and beyond for our children! The river swim is something they will never forget! And our pool party was amazing! The security/maintenance guy at night was also so great and found some really cool bugs/insects/spiders for our kiddos! The breakfast service was perfect. Laura provided amazing service as well as insight and recommendations! It was the perfect way to start our day! LAURA is an amazing host who really made us feel welcome. She went above and beyond to make our trip that much more memorable! We hope to return again. PURA VIDA!
