The Park Princess of the Moon Ecolodge is nestled in a lush tropical plant farm with a great location. This magical place is unusual, with more than 100 types of fruit trees, including many threatened and endangered species. The area is one of the most biodiverse and fertile in the world so wonderful to understand, observe and experience wildlife and nature. The aim is to integrate the principles of permaculture and creating a lifestyle self-sufficient and sustainable in harmony with the local biodiversity. Swimming pools, waterfalls, jacuzzi and many hiking trails on the farm as well as many other activities in the area. This is an interesting place for a honeymoon or a romantic adventure.

I found this place by accident booking a walk through the rainforest and waterfall experience on ARBNB. It was an awesome adventure that took you through a small river through the Rainforest. The place is very rustic and isolated and surrounded by beautiful trees and flora. William is a fabulous host, very communicative and willing to help you with any travel plans to make sure you enjoy your time on La Fortuna.

A wonderful, rustic retreat with lovely hosts. Great location and tranquil environment. Gorgeous property & abundant flora. The food is fantastic, plan on meals there! Great for bird lovers and hikers. Waking up to the sound of cicadas & wind blowing through the trees will refresh your soul.

Words defy, so in brief: hospitable, tranquil, endless canopy, the sense of total envelopment in jungle. William and all who work with him are gems as are their recommendations for activities off basecamp. Truly an experience like no other, and one to do Costa Rica proud.

William was an amazing host. Communicative. Helpful. All around fabulous. The property is in the rainforest surrounded by beautiful grounds! The food they made was fantastic . Traditional coffee. Fresh juice from their surrounding fruit trees and all homemade for breakfast. They were so accommodating when we had to arrive very late and making us a beautiful fish dinner the next evening . It was rainy season and despite that we found great activities. William had a grounds tour we didn’t make it on because of lack of time but we would engage next visit. We enjoyed the hot springs and incredible coffee/chocolate tour locally. Would return any time ! The driveway entrance is a tad tricky to find so get a few directions before or if you follow gps you might make one wrong turn but will quickly backtrack and find your way. Also William was on WhatsApp and totally available at a moments notice! Thank you! Was fantastic. …
