This hotel is very close to SHUFE and Fudan Universities. And probably that is how it gets most of its traffic. Nonetheless, it is actually easy to get in and out of central Shanghai from here and the hotel itself is as good as the larger, brand name hotels near the Bund. The rooms are good - some of the...

The hotel is located on the backside of Fudan campus area and virtually next door to Shanghai University for Finance and Economics. It is a pleasant 20-minute walk to Fudan main area, mostly through the lively campus. If you have business with either of these universities, the location is ok, even a good one. However, Crowne Plaza is unbeatably convenient...

At this moment, I have not yet checked in. In fact, the majority of people have not. I am here at this hotel for a competition involving around 200 people. We have all booked our rooms in advance, but when arriving, are told that we have to wait for our rooms. When I arrived and asked about checking in, I...

Clean hotel. Good size rooms. Very helpful staff. I was surprised that with a western named hotel the restaurant staff were not familiar with "Boiled Egg". The vegetarian selection was VERY poor. All we had was Cereal and fruit. Most meals had eggs in them.

Good hotel with all amenities including a decent gym. Breakfast very good and location in a marketplace. The ac works when we sleep but after some time they turn it off I think, so one has to open the windows otherwise it gets warm and stuffy. Beds are good and they have a choice of pillows which is great. There...

I stayed in this so called '5-star' hotel twice because it's close to the university. In fact, it was very consistent in missing my expectation for a 5 star hotel. The first time I stayed in a suite in 9F, however that room had a very strong smell of mould as well as smoke although I particularly asked for a...

Stayed during trade show in china. Average hotel. No wifi internet in rooms. Needless to say it should be a standard feature. Breakfast buffet is ok. Not recommended for people for tourism as it far most most city attractions. Had to stay due to booking by group tour manager.

I was here on business to visit the university next door so location was good for that. It's a bit far from the tourist stuff in the Pu Dong / Bund area (approx 30 minute taxi with traffic). The bathroom was spa quality. The work desk area was modern, had a comfortable chair, and had electric outlets for US plugs....
